  1. I have the original packaging if anyone wants to arrange collection. Even including courier costs this is a very cheap and very capable cab.
  2. This bass plays incredibly well and sounds fantastic. Just to reiterate, this isn't one of the Indonesian made basses, this was hand-made in Italy!
  3. Albion 300w, 8ohm 1x15 cab up for grabs. I bought this cab from PMT in the sale as a cheap cab to leave at a rehearsal space. I didn't think it'd be up to much but it is EXCELLENT. Not just considering the price, either. It's really very good. It reminds me of the Mesa Powerhouse 1x15 I had a while back, full range, powerful and yet articulate. The added bonus is that it weighs nowhere near as much as the Mesa! I now need the space more than I need extra gear lying around, so come and grab a bargain. Proper pics to follow.
  4. Yamaha Japan BB400S from the mid 80s. There is considerable buckle rash on the back but the neck and front of the bass are in great condition for the age. It had a set of EMGs installed in the 80s by the original owner and it sounds great. Includes the original flight case with purest green lining.
  5. I should clarify that without the switch, both channels are on all the time. I've used it with my bass on channel 1 and a keyboard on channel 2 to great effect. I've also used it with my phone connected to ch2 for silent practice in conjunction with the headphone amp. A useful piece of kit.
  6. Now £1395 Sadowsky MV4E Metro Express, made in Japan in small numbers before Warwick got hold of Sadowsky. This is not to be confused with the new RSD Metro Express basses which are made in China to a very different price point. This is practically identical to the two Sadowsky Metro MV4 basses I've owned previously. As it's an MV4 it has a lightweight ash body, maple fingerboard and an ultra smooth feeling nitro-finished maple neck. The finish is a lovely metallic Sage Green. The Japanese ME basses seem to be universally lightweight, and this one is no exception at 7lb 13oz or 3.54kg. It's in great condition but does have a very small paint chip on the forearm contour, I'll try to highlight this in the pictures. It comes with the Sadowsky Porta bag, and tools etc.
  7. It's simpler than lugging an 8x10 to a recording session 😁
  8. Crews Maniac Sound DPA-2B in excellent condition complete with original box, instructions (handy if you're Japanese) and power supply. The is an excellent sounding twin channel preamp complete with a switchable effects loop, switchable EQ, Mute and a built in headphone amp.
  9. DSM & Humboldt Simplifier Bass Station in great condition. Excellent for recording and live use straight into the PA. "The Ultimate Bass Platform The new DSM & Humboldt SIMPLIFIER BASS STATION is everything you ever needed to go direct to the FOH or recording amazing bass tones without sacrificing anything. It includes a Bass Preamp with gain, level, and a 3 band EQ with semi-parametric mid control. A parallel signal routing with a selectable LPF, dual FX loop (for preamp and parallel signal), and an amazing analog cabinet simulation, based on the acclaimed Omnicabsim ® by DSM Noisemaker."
  10. It's not high by any means, possibly a trick of the light? The neck is straight and there's room on the saddles to reduce the string hight right down if desired.
  11. Here's a pretty comprehensive review of the bass 👇
  12. *Now £160* Laney Nexus N210 cab in fantastic condition. These are loaded with a pair of high quality Sica neo drivers that sound great and ensure its an easy one hand lift. It has a switchable tweeter (high, low, off) and is 300w, 8ohm. It's a very capable standalone cab, looks great and build quality is excellent. *Badge now reattached*
  13. They are single coils. I've had three Atelier Z basses and they all had single coil pickups 👍
