  1. Thanks. It does offer amazing value for money! I was playing along to Erykah Badu's live album with last night and it sounds fantastic.
  2. Hopefully it'll go to a good home in one piece, unless someone else wants just the neck?
  3. Thanks for the comments, it was made in Indonesia and has the silky smooth and slim neck 👍
  4. Thanks chaps. I'd be keeping it if it wasn't for the inevitable backup upgrade GAS...
  5. Squier Precision Standard up for grabs. I purchased this bass as a backup after I had a bass fail on me at a festival gig! Needless to say I've raided my spares drawer and upgraded it in the following ways: Custom Jess Loureiro P pickup, Kiogon solderless wiring loom, Wilkinson bridge with brass saddles and white strat knobs. It's been well gigged over the years and is showing signs of use, but it's ageing nicely and feels very much broken in. The volume pots can be slightly scratchy if not used for a while (they were like this from new) but a few turns usually rectifies this. Collection/trial in Margate or I can box it up if you'd like to arrange a courier.
  6. Ibanez SR675 up for grabs. This bass has been made to an extremely high standard in Korea and offers amazing value for money. It's lightweight and compact but sounds absolutely monstrous with it's Bartolini pickups and custom Ibanez preamp. It plays effortlessly well with a nice low action which makes chopping and changing between traditional 4 string basses and this a total breeze. Now includes the flight case, leather Levy's strap and Schaller strap locks pictured below. Collection/trial in Margate preferred, or I can box it up if you'd like to arrange collection 👍
  7. I'd prefer a straight sale, but feel free to PM me.
  8. This was provisionally sold for £450 but the buyer had to pull out. Therefore I'm going to offer it up for the same price if a BCer is after an absolutely stonking 70's sounding jazz bass in a lightweight and exceptionally well built package??
  9. I forgot to add that the pickups are in the 70s position. Here's a very similar bass in action 👌
  10. Korg Pitchblack Custom Pedal tuner including instruction manual and box. In good condition with a few signs of wear, works perfectly. It features a handy 9v output to supply other pedals from one power supply. £40 posted to your door within the UK.
  11. MXR Bass Octave Deluxe in good condition with original box etc. There are loads of demos on YouTube of this pedal, it really nails the classic octaver tone. £80 posted to your door within the UK.
  12. Set of Lindy Fralin Jazz pickups, standard wind with white covers. These things are as good as it gets! If I wasn't going down a PJ route I'd be keeping hold of these. They have been installed on a solderless loom so are free from solder, and each lead is un-cut. They are in great condition. £110 posted to your door within the UK.
  13. It's passive, the controls are volume, pickup pan, tone. I'm unsure of the neck radius but it's slightly flatter than a typical 60's Fender Jazz. That makes it easier to get a low action in my opinion. It's a slim jazz-style neck so I assume it's standard jazz width. I can confirm the exact width this evening. It's been recently setup with new 40-100 D'Addario nickels so is good to go.
  14. Anaconda Ultra J4 Essence up for grabs. This is a fantastic modern take on the Jazz bass with a slightly undersized Alder body, silky smooth oiled maple neck/fingerboard, hipshot tuners and Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups. It plays amazingly well with a low action, is built to a very high standard and sounds punchy as hell. It's also very light at 3.6kg/8lb. It has a couple of small marks here and there as it has been gigged, but overall it's in great condition.
  15. I found it in a pawn shop in South London if I remember correctly. Such a cool bass.
  16. I had one of these a few years ago and it's easily one of the best basses I've owned and one of very few I genuinely regret selling. I sold it on BC (for a song) after I did three full gigs in one day with it and had trouble standing upright the next day 😁
  17. I sold some pickups to Dave and all was well. Another top Bass chatter 👍
