  1. Agreed, they are awesome. Of course, that bass is my prized possession 👌
  2. I believe it's a Rosewood board on this one. I've owned and played several Moon basses (including Pino's Larry Graham sig) and they are all incredibly consistent. Seriously great basses!
  3. Now £975 Lovely Moon J4 up for grabs. This is an amazing Jazz bass with extremely high build quality as you'd expect from Moon. For the uninitiated these are made in Japan to a very high standard and have been used by the likes of Pino Palladino and Larry Graham. This one is in a great vintage white finish and is totally standard sporting the Moon tuners, bridge and pickups along with a brass nut. It has a VVTT control setup, much like a 60s stack knob jazz but on individual pots. It weighs 4kg and is in great condition with some signs of play wear as you'd expect. There is a small hairline crack in the lacquer by the base of the neck, but you have to look in the right light to see it (see pics). It comes with a brand new Fender gig bag. Collection from Margate or I can box it up if postage is required.
  4. Sean bought my Squier Jazz recently. He's another BC gent, deal in confidence 👍
  5. I genuinely read that as Trigger's Broom Orange.
  6. Legendary MXR M80 DI+ in great condition complete with box, user guide and blank warranty card. This is a great sounding DI with a sweet EQ and a very useable switchable distortion. £100 posted
  7. Price drop to £295. All the jazz bass you'll ever need!
  8. Thanks for the info, I'll update the thread👍
  9. Squier certainly seem to have cracked it with these basses 👍
  10. Just sold a bass to Jimmy and it was a perfect transaction. Enjoy the bass mate 👍
  11. She comes in at 8.8lbs. I've got a dodgy shoulder and I've gigged this in a pro function band numerous times without any issues. As a side note, the current flats it wears will be removed before sale and a set of rounds will be refitted. The flats have some sentimental value to me. It sounds great with either!
  12. Now £295 Here we have one of the highly regarded Squier 40th anniversary gold edition jazz basses. This bass is the subject of multiple threads on here due it's general awesomeness! It feels like a premium instrument, looks fantastic and has a seriously punchy sound. It's a massive upgrade over the standard Squier line and offers amazing value for money. I didn't intend to sell this one but I currently have too many basses and needs must. You know how it is. Collection from Margate or I can box it up if postage is required. Note, I currently have a parchment pick guard on the bass but the original metal one (shown loosely fitted in the last pic) will be refitted prior to sale.
  13. Available again. As mentioned above, insane bargain!
  14. Complete set of EMG JAX pickups with the EMG solderless loom in original packaging. These pickups sound great and are a fair bit warmer/more natural sounding than traditional EMG's. Only selling as I want an EMG PJX set! Manfacturers info: The JAX Set is based off EMG's original J, but uses Alnico V magnets instead of ceramic and our X Series preamp. This creates a tone that is warm and open for a more vintage sound with a broad frequency range and added dynamic response and feel. The JAX provides bass players with natural presence, powerful lows, and expansive midrange. With our X Series preamp on-board, this pickups set truly bridges the gap between passive and active tone - giving players the best of both worlds. Whether you play fretted or fretless you'll get an incredibly full sound with these bass pickups. The X series preamp gives the pickup a more dynamic range along with increased headroom while keeping the more traditional string-to-string balance. X series pickups also come with an Active Tone Control (VLPF) designed to roll-off (attenuate) high frequencies, similar to a typical passive tone control. The result is a noiseless single coil guitar pickup with a classic EMG sound that bridges the gap between active and passive. £100 collected from Margate or I can post via Special Delivery for £8.
  15. Thanks 👍 I've had an embarrassing amount of Jazz basses and I have to agree, this does it all and feels like a much higher end instrument than the price would suggest!
  16. I forgot to add the pic of the Bass Centre case candy. I'll take £475 for this if anyone fancies it? Amazing value for money!
  17. Hi, due to wondrous brexit, this is a UK only sale I'm afraid.
  18. Me too. Thanks for the kind words.
