1. Hi guys, sorry to be a sneaky bastard but I'm listing an Akai Deep Impact SB1 and a Digitech Bass Whammy of mine on Ebay right now if anyone's interesting in donating to my "fix Dave's sh*tty Astra" fund. Here are the links: Akai Deep Impact Digitech Bass Whammy Thanks for your time, I hope I didn't piss the listings up!
2. Hey guys, as the name suggests I've got a Ampeg B5R Head and a Ashdown ABM 410T Cab for sale. I'm trying to clear some space out of my house and it's a real blood-letting experience to watch these go, but the woman needs shoes and I certainly need woman. I'm willing to part with these for £350 incl. postage (located Chelmsford, Essex) but I cant afford to drop any lower or accept trades. Here's a picture of the head, in the flightcase which I'll throw in too. I need to take a picture of the cab but it's in pretty mint nick. I'll try and get one up asap regardless. Dave.
3. Bump, guess some pricing details might help, was looking for about £300-£350 each. Fair? I hope.
4. Just sending out the feelers here to see what people are willing to part with! I have an Ashdown EVO II 500 watt head and an Ampeg B5R head that I am looking to part ways with like some broken business of theives. They have been used but are in excellent condition. I'm pretty open to suggestion as long as it's not a bit Pete Tong so someone could probably get a horribly good deal (for them) out of me! Thanks for reading! Dave (flightcase included in deal!) All the love in the units comes as standard....I think. Maybe. EDiT: Bumped

Dubs Feedback.

Ben bought my Unibass and the transaction was smoother than my ass on waxing Wednesday. Enough love to you brother, enjoy the pedal! x
6.
Do you have any pics of the Blowtorch?
I could take some! Will take some of both pedals tomorrow morning brother.
7. Both in next to perfect condition! Hardly used, both boxed with instructions, power supply with unibass, but can't justify owning so many goddamn pedals anymore. £80 for the unibass SOLD - payment pending £80 for the blowtorch Happy times? Here's hoping. Both include P+P.
8. Yeah knowing Chris it probably isn't even a bass on the album playing that part.
9. Great pedals, very VERY nice guy. I'd highly recommend Natham's pedals without hesitation.
10. Hey dude, would you be interested in selling the 4x10 separately? If so how much would you be looking at for it? Thanks for your time!
11. I'd be seriously up for the second or third designs. If it was the third though, would it be possible to get a 2.1mm negative pin type 9V dc jack mounted or at the very least just a hole with a grommit so I can run another battery cable into that bad boy? But yeah, main point, if this gets made my money is on the table man.
12.
The 12th fret harmonic will always be an octave higher than the open string however your intonation is set up. Incorrect possitioning of the bridge may mean its not exactly at the 12 fret but it won't affect the pitch of the harmonic in relation to the pitch of the open string. I always use the 12th harmonics for tuning as even my Korg rack tuner finds locking onto harmonics easier than open strings.
Oh sorry I missed the harmonic part, I was thinking the fretted note. D'oh!
13.
im now thinking of moddin my bass so that i can switch between passive and active elctronics, so i talked to mansons email i sent to mansons: "hello would it be possible for you to mod my musicman sub bass guitar so that it has a active/passive toggle switch, so i can switch between active and passive electronics? would this require a new pick-up? thanks, kev" The reply: "Hi Kev, We can certainly do it. Possibly the best way would be to keep your existing pickup but add an EMG active circuit to it, which could be on a push-pull pot. Parts & labour on something like this is usually around about £100. If you'd like more information or to talk through alternative options, please give us a call on (01392) 496379. Regards Jay" is this worth getting done? idea is to solve the problem i have with my active bass and fuzzes. also are there any cheaper luthiers that would do this, prefferably local to bristol or liverpool/mancherster also this doesnt make sense to me, as i dont understand how the mod they suggested would make my bass passive, iv emailed them again....
Two forum reply, but what the heck. Some active circuits have push-pull pots that disengage the active circuitry. So when the pots are pushed in the signal goes through the circuit and the 9V battery, but when pulled out it just goes through the pots straight to the jack and out of the bass. I hope that's what you're asking for. Unless i've missread that on two forums horribly!
14.
I do like my strobostomp2 a lot, but I would suggest just starting to tune with the 12th fret harmonic.
Depending on how accurate his intonation is that could be a dodgy method.
15.
obviously the whammys beat the boss's usually seriously tho, i dont advise you get the whammy, from what i can see you wouldnt justify the space it takes up on a board, if your only gunna use it for octave up. try and get hold of a unibass, best octave up for bass there is
The unibass is bigger than the bass whammy. I'd try and find a bass whammy if you can, but if the price goes over £240 or so, leave it unless you're maniacally desperate for one. Pitch shifting is inherently always a bit sh*te, but the bass whammy can do a lot more than the unibass and the boss ps series. Ultimately, 90% of the time pitch-shifting on bass is a bit of a gimmick. So you'd probably best off putting the money toward other uses.
