3. From now all adverts should include your other half in the pictures!
Well it would certainly spice up the For Sale section
4. Would love that Bello Bass Right now. Big Duff fan. I spoke to Jon Cruz at the Fender Custom Shop who builds his basses. Duffs one is basically a Bello/Aerodyne Jazz Special. Basically your very bass with a Jazz Special Neck. Damn, wish i could find £500!
New photo
5. Is this a rack mounted one? Thanks
Mint condition, out of the box once X2 digital wireless. Comes with an OBBM replacement cable to replace the (shockingly awful) standard cable. I thought I was going to use this, but I'm just not. £130 inc shipping.
6. Hope they wiped down the leather after!
"Darling, now you really must sell your bass on the BC marketplace because as you see, I have literally nothing to wear!"
7. Anyone know what bass it is? lol
I actually thought this was going to be a rant about sexism from a disgruntled lady basser...my ability to spot a seaside-style double entendre has evidently seriously atrophied in the last year spent living in the Middle East! I frowningly disapprove of such misogyny...still, buckle rash isn't going to be a problem eh?
8. Think this is turning into the "Find a hot chick and a naff bass in a pic" Thread.
I'm thinking mid hump here.
9. Well, if you ask me she has plent of "Top End"
Sounds like a caption competition to me!
10. Is this not the most random bass pic on the internet? Pretty awesome though! If you were the photographer, would you tell her it was upside down?

 14. I think its a case of Sign Up...Place Ad linking to Ebay Auction...Bugger Off! I could be wrong?! Ad appears a few minutes after sign up?
are you offering it for sale here, or just linking us to your ebay auction?
15. Gotta say the Furmans are amazing for guys with Racks. One Master power switch and conditioning which has saved my gear a couple of times at dodgy venues. I swear by my PL-Plus. Also love the DTR-2000 too! Good luck with the sale!
No worries.. I might like the rack too. How many units high is an LMII? I don't need a conditioner, but would be very interested in the tuner anyway..!
16. Great gigging amp! - Gallien Krueger 700RB-II on EBAY

 18.
Blimey, you don't hang about do you, I only sent that neck the other day! Glad you like it, it's a stunning neck and that bass looks really good, well done. I've got a bitsa bass myself which I might post here, although I didn't actually build it. Kets
Thanks Kets. The neck was the last piece of the puzzle! I can't get over how nice this neck feels too!
looks good. Yeah, maybe you didn't build it from the ground up or anything but at the end of the day you have basically got a custom bass now that is built using the parts you want and we all have to start somewhere with this whole bass building malarkey.
I kinda enjoyed doing it, alot! Think i will try my hand at constructing a jazz next!
Very cool, my personal preference on this bass would be to replace the black tuners with chrome ones, not because I dislike black hardware, but just to match the bridge and knobs etc. But other than that, looks really great. I've put together two parts basses, one is in the hands of Mythste now, and the other has been toured and gigged extensively and is just awaiting the neck repair back from Jon Shuker. I found both basses really enjoyable to put together, especially when a lot of the parts come from guys on the forum....kinda makes it feel like a group effort using my money haha. Si
Thanks for your input Si, i am going over to all black hardware. I'm after replacements on this thread. Can you help?
No, replace all the silver with black!
See above!
nice buddy. glad the pickups are to your liking
They Sound Killer Man.
Looks great Chris & I'm pleased you are getting more use out of (some of it at least) the bass than I did.
Thanks Burrito! I think i mentioned at the time i preferred Jazz Necks with the P-Bass Sound. It had to happen one day. I'm loving the Squier Classic Vibe and Vintage Modified Stuff!

 20. Hey Guys Not much of a build, but more of an assemblence of parts for my ideal bass. I wanted a "cheaper" bass to use for a couple of tunes my band play in a heavily dropped tuning, as i didnt want to be playing about with tunings and setups on my main basses. I've always liked the look of the Sid Vicious and DeeDee Ramones' P-Basses, but never got on with Precision necks. Also only wanted a volume control, but extra knob installed for show. So here's the parts list... Body - Vintage Modified Precision - Supplied by BurittoBass Scratchplate - Vintage Modified Precision - Supplied by BurittoBass Pickup - Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Electronics - CTS Pots, Knobs and Switchcraft Jack - Supplied by WD Music Neck - Squier Classic Vibe Jazz - Supplied by kets Neck Plate - Black Allparts Machine Heads - Black Gotoh GB9 Reversed - Supplied by Me! Bridge - BadAss II - Supplied by Bassmingo Was fun putting it together, and thanks to the above guys for helping me source the parts! This bass sounds great!

 22. Ive just noticed a similar thread, however i would like to use it as a pre-amp instead of a DI. Hope someone can help!?!
Hey guys A mate of mine has one of these little units he doesnt need anymore. What do you guys think about it? Any experiances, good or bad? I am thinking of using it as a driver/pre-amp to marry with a poweramp i have to drive my cabs when i need a backup. Your thoughts please?!!
24. Have used them in a PA situation with Kick Drums. Not used them on Bass, although they work and sound pretty good. Transparent is the word! PS. What a bargain!
I've just been sold a Samson S.Com Compressor for £30 by my mate who got it brand new 2 months ago and I was wondering if anyone knows if they are any good or not? They retail on the net for anywhere between £140 and £190 (that i've seen). Reason he sold it cheap to me is because he doesn't use racked equipment and got bought it for his birthday so he offered it to me for £30. Not bad Anyyyyyways, yeah, if you have any thoughts on it, please let me know Cheeers!
