1. How about a Series 6 12 band 200watt 1x15 combo + £150?
2. The cab has left the building
3. Just sold a cab to Ben, lovely bloke and a pleasure to deal with.
4. I paid £80 for it a year ago - it's priced to sell quickly which I think it has.
5. Had this combo for about a year and it's been utterly reliable and really served me well. It's loud and versatile but too heavy to post so buyer collects or we meet within a reasonable distance. Would consider trades for 300 watt+ head or a decent 4x10 or 2x12 cab (not too heavy though) with cash adjustment. £160
6. Had a good'n on Sat night with my 80s trib band Electric Dreams, nice venue, nice people. Got a nasty attack of cramp half way through the second set and played the last 3 songs in agony but got though ok.
7. Cam's right, I've played this bass a few times and it's stunning. It's light, plays beautifully and sounds like heaven. I've also heard it live at least 6 times and it just confirms what a great bass this is, I wish I had the money to buy it. Cam is a top bloke, buy with complete confidence.
8. We played at a posh function on Friday night - The Law Society Ball at The Imperial Hotel at Blackpool. It was a fantastic room and there were about 250-300 people...er sorry I mean solicitors there. We arrived to set up at 5pm because they wanted the room ready at 7pm, that was a challenge but we just got out at 7.15. A quick walk down the prom for some fish and chips and then back to the hotel to watch the match. We were supposed to go on at 10pm for the first set but it was about 11.30 when we went on. We had a packed dance floor festooned with some excellent posh totty for both sets and finished about 1.30. Got home knackered at 3.30, sat and watched telly for half an hour and went to bed.
9. I used to own this bass and it's a beaut. It records particularly well and the build quality is excellent.
10.
I was thinking the same thing Alan - though glad to hear you haven't
I did jack in and found a replacement. I sold my rig, blew the money on camera gear then my replacement changed his mind. The band was 5 weeks away from their first gig so I agreed to do it for their sake. Belive me, as soon as I can make a dignified exit, I will.
11. Be careful where you park Pete - we were told to park behind the theatre by one of the staff and we all got tickets. They were only private company tickets so we ignored 'em but a few of the band got some hassle off the sheisters who gave us the tickets. Nice venue but agree with sh*tty get-in but it's not as bad as Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
12. Anyone who knows me will tell you I've owned a lot of gear in my short time as a bassist. At the peak of my gear madness, I used to take nearly £5,000 worth of gear on stage - nearly half of which was attributable to my 'rig'. Tonight I rehearsed with my band with an old (but new to me) Trace Elliott 200 watt 1x15 combo with a 1x15 Trace extension cab underneath - it cost me £350 in total and dya know what, it sounded immense. It rattled my cheeks and brought the biggest smile to my face ever. Just had to share that with ya.
13. Bloody hell - I thought you'd be needing another playing to 10,000 people
14. Moi aussi Pedro
15. OK no worries - I think I may have a trade pending
16. Thanks merello.
17. Final price reduction bump
