Absolutely.  I had a 12lb bass once that would have proved a little too much over a longer gig I would think, but anything under 5KG/11LB should be fine unless you have back issues, as long as it balanced well and you don't use a seatbelt as a strap.

In that case, I would keep the Lakky 😎

I've been spoiled by my sub-8lb Sadowsky P5 - My other Sadowsky basses aren't far off either at around 8.3-8.5lbs. Only problem with this is everything else I own now seemingly weighs a ton
