ESP Basses

I own an Edwards bass made by ESP Japan if that counts? http://www.espguitars.co.jp/edwards/am/E-AM-128QM.html I have the one in Black Cherry. It's purrrrrrrrty and the output has more headroom than my Ibanez ATK!
4. Bumping.... I had a chance to use a Laney RB7 yesterday at practice at Arch Studios in Stamford Brook, West London. I thought it sounded amazing and really kept up our loud guitarist and drummer!
5.
I bought a Laney R3 combo off eBay while my Trace Elliot BLX-80 was in for repair (my own fault) and, at the first gig, found exactly the same thing. Daren't turn the hf driver on for fear of breaking glasses on the surrounding tables and lacking in any real low end without sounding wooly. Not a patch on the BLX-80. I only paid £100 for is so I'm hanging onto it as an emergency back-up
Glad I'm not the only one not liking this amp. It's getting more on my nerves now and I'm starting to play very little on it as well. Instead I prefer to use the line 6 gearbox bass sounds on there even though I have to wear headphones to hear =/
6. Gwilym bought a Ritter gig bag from me and he's been an awesome guy throughout the smooth transaction. Great guy at communicating to and always gets back to you on time!
7. Michael bought an ESP gig bag off me and he has been extremely pleasant to deal with. Friendly and always top with the communication! Thanks for the purchase!

10. Is it me or does the top edge of the nut look too big for the neck width?
11. Bingo to hillbilly deluxe and Paul_C! I was wondering what the name was for this tool as I've seen around some hardware stores before I guess i'll be getting one of these off good ole ebay! hillbilly deluxe: The bass I have is a Killer KB-SIMMONY from Japan (http://www.killer.jp/killer/bass/kb_simmony_sw.html)
12. Hey guys I need to make truss rod adjustments on my bass but the truss rod head is not allen wrenches compatible. It looks like it's a bolt nut and I need to buy some sort of hexagon adjustment tool to fit around the nut to turn it. I can't put anything in the hole as it's a circular hole but it seems like I can screw something into it? Took a picture of the truss rod nut for you guys to take a look at so any help would be great Cheers!
13. Bought this amp last month from Peter cook's in Hanwell, West London, played it in the shop and sounded great with tight lows and sounded very warm. Went ahead and purchased it but upon taking it home, I couldn't find the right sound. Probably due to the surroundings in my room like floorboards and the open space I have while compared to the shops carpet, tight space and stacks of equipment everywhere. Amp is as new, comes with original box, packaging, manual, power cord and even the receipt so it's still under the 12 month warranty. Suitable for home practice and small gigs but you do have the option to DI it or hook it to a cab. if you require more power for larger gigs. Bought it for £195 (last one left in shop so on special price) so will sell for £120 (these amps retail for £236+ elsewhere) or willing to accept trade on another amp and I don't mind throwing some money in too! Collection from West London preferred (Ealing/Acton area) or can post but you need to arrange your own courier as the amp is extremely heavy! Full specs. of amp is here: http://www.laney.co.uk/show_prod.php?prod=rb4
14. The title and sub-title says it all Bought it last month from eBay... was meant to cut an ATK shape pickguard but realised I actually don't have the appropriate saw to cut the pickguard with! (I thought my dad had coping saw but apparently not!) Pickguard specs. are as follow: * Colour: Black (3-Ply - Black/White/Black) * Dimensions (approx): 295mm x 250mm x 2.4mm * Thickness: 2.4mm * Material: 3-Ply (Black/White/Black) * Axetec Part Number: SPSH01 Still has protective film on the surface. If collecting, I'm in West London 20 mins away from Ealing/Acton.
