I've got 2 of the Subway 210s and a TT800 and can hands down say these are some of the best cabs I've ever used. They're punchy with plenty of low end, and very versatile. I was rehearsing with a loud rock band and just one of these kept up fine, with the volume at 10 o clock. Also pretty light and easy to move about. Highly recommended, great bits of kit.

Hi all, i’m looking to get myself an IEM system. Are there any recommendations? I’ve got some KZ ZS10 PROs which I plan to use with it. Also, I see many different frequency ranges mentioned, which one should I be looking at? I’m fairly flexible pricewise, just so long as its solid! Cheers, Will

From a few weeks ago, supporting a band with2 drummers! Brought out the SVT Classic and it certainly didn’t disappoint!

First outing with my new Mesa Subway 210s! Sounded fantastic, much punchier than the Aguilar SL112 I had before.

You know you want to! It’s fantastic ! I’ve had the MXR M87 before and this definitely trumps it!

Just seen this in a thread on TB, looks like Thomann let slip that there is a new version of the Cali76 Compact Bass on the way. Fixes all the (very minor) gripes I have with mine, being its a bit too tall and the metering was rather basic. I'd imagine it will sound the same though.

Interesting, seems several places reporting on this thought it was an 810 as well. Hoping there will be demos soon!

Played the Rising Sun in Reading last week and got to use my SVT-CL. What a sound!

Just picked up these cabs today so Mesa is definitely available in the uk now!

Mesa are finally shipping to the uk again, so I traded my aguilar 112s for a pair of subway 210s. Sounding incredible! Thanks to the Mesa/Gibson team for the hard work getting them back to us!

Blimey! Good job I got mine when I did! I just pre-ordered a 210 and 115 from there, need to move on my Aguilar kit first!

Played the Purple Turtle in Reading on Monday, used a pair of SL112 cabs and a Mesa TT800 head. Sounded huge!

Despite all the reports of the failures it's a very small number that actually fail - there are plenty of these in touring use that take a lot of abuse that are over 10 years old now and absolutely fine - If you got one new now I think you'd be fine.

So it seems to me there are two separate common problems with these compressors: 1. Failed output TLC2262 Op amp. Symptoms are the pedal looks to be working correctly with the gain reduction LEDs working, but with no output when the pedal is engaged. fixed just by swapping the output op amp normally, tricky without SMD soldering equipment but doable. 2. Failed ratio switch. All gain LEDs stay on permanently instead of going off after a few seconds of turning on. Fixed by replacing the ratio switch as mentioned by @fretbass.

Thanks for this! Just did this fix myself - bought one off ebay and swapped the chip for another TLC2262. A question for those that went the AD822 route: Did this different chip make any difference to the sound or characteristics of the compressor?

Usual rig for tonights rehearsal - Fender 60s Jazz Bass -> Pedalboard -> Mesa TT800 + 2 Aguilar SL112 cabs.

How do you find the Rm800 II ? considering getting one as a backup head.
