Thanks for your feedback and hello to a fellow Sandberg fan! It's interesting you mentioned the Delano pickups - I've actually never resonated with them. I've always been partial to the Sandberg-branded pickups (never tried a black label one though!). I found the Delano pickup a little sterile and hi-fi sounding which isn't my cup of tea. I gravitate more towards the Sandberg pickups as I found them warmer in characteristic. I'm not sure if theyre the Alnico V pickups you're referring to though!

Hi All, For those of you own/owned Sandberg basses or have played one, specifically the VM series - how do you compare the build construction, worksmanship and tonal characteristics with the BBP34? I'm a long-time Sandberg player having owned the TM2 and a couple of VM4s. I am in love the Sandberg neck profile which I feel the most "at home" with and am actually thinking of placing another customer order for one but recently the BBP34 in Vintage White has caught my attention. I owned a BB1024x about 12 years back and had it for a couple of years. I remember it being a "p-bass" on steroids and absolutely loved the punchy tone, apart from that my memory of it has been quite hazy. I "think" I remember it being a little on the heavier side, at least compared to the Sandberg basses I own. How does the feel and neck profile of the 1024x compare to the latest top-of-the-line offering? Your thoughts and opinions will be very much welcomed - should I get the BBP34!?

Hey Folks, I've narrowed down my wishlist for a new bass amp to pair with my Orange OBC-115 and it's between the EBS Reidmar 502 and Little Bass Thing by Orange. If you've played both, what are your thoughts on them and which would you go for?

I am actually considering the Laney Digbeth DB500H and DB200H. The DB500H would set me back about £380 and I saw a DB200H on sale for £249 (regular price is around £300).

Hi Folks. I am looking for an amp to pair with my Orange Cab but am unsure whether to go for a 200w (4 ohm) or 500w (4 ohm). I currently have an Orange OBC115 Cab which is rated at 400watts (8 Ohms). I will be using the cab and amp primarily for home recording and practice in my apartment. I'd be playing at "bedroom-level" during the day and will most likely use my headphones at night. I would like to seek your opinion on whether the 200w is more than sufficient for my needs or would it make more sense to go for the 500w for more headroom and the odd chance that ai might to bring it out for a gig. Hi All, I'm a long time lurker on BassChat and finally registered an account as I am currently in a dilemma and hope some of you could help me out. I'm currently looking for an amp to pair with my Orange OBC115 cab and have narrowed it down to the Orange Little Bass Thing and the Laney Digbeth DH500B. Unfortunately, I wont be able to get the chance to try both these amps in person and would have to take a leap of faith. I am mightily impressed by the demos of both on youtube. I love the punch of LBT's built-in compressor however the missing aux in and headphones input is a little annoying. The Laney seems to have a tube-like warmth and the ability to mix the drive and clean channels is a really neat feature - doesn't hurt that it has the aux in and headphones inputs too. For those who have tried both amps, which would you get and why?
