They say that everybody remembers where they were when they found out Elvis was dead. Camping with my local Youth Club - we thought the girl who brought the news just had a sick sense of humour.
The Band and the Roadies pulled up in the van, and I jumped in. "I see Elvis has died" said I. "Right, whats the punch-line?" was the reply. It took me 10 minutes on the Motorway to convince them I was telling the truth!
