7. Yes I believe that was the order I used
8. Yes my bass does have rather high output which had crossed my mind. But the extent of the problem lead me to believe that there would be something else causing the issue as well.
9. I've had a number of pedals stashed away for a while but only just got round to setting them up as I never bothered to buy a board and power supply. They are really just a novelty more than anything really I don't need them for live use. Anyway having set them up, I am finding that if I play anything other than very soft, I am getting a rather odd popping kind of noise - similar to that which you would get by touching the string against the pickup magnet. Any ideas what this would be? For what it's worth, I'm using a Korg DT10, EHX Bass Big Muff, EHX Multiplexer, DOD envelope filter and MXR Phaser into LMKIII and Aguilar GS112. It's my guitarists board and power supply and he has never had similar problems which leads me to believe that there is nothing wrong with the supply and obviously if I go straight into my amp without the pedals there is no issue.
10. Used to own a blackburst cali jm4, selling it was the most foolish thing I ever did

15.
Hot Water Music - No Division To celebrate the fact we've just got tickets to see one of my favourite bands that I thought I'd never get to see live again!
I played with Chuck Ragan about 8-9 months ago and he has to be the nicest guy I've ever gigged with. He was straight out to help us in with gear when we got to the venue, really talkative and took a genuine interest in everything that was going on at the gig. A thoroughly nice guy!!
16. Further to my mention of Thrice - check out this vid. Makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

Fodera basses

I've played one Fodera and I was blown away by it. Sounded gorgeous and possibly the easiest playing bass I've ever had the pleasure of trying. I'd love to be able to afford to own one!

24. Agreed on that! I used to play a jazz in a metal band and wouldn't hesitate in playing one now if I didn't have my Shuker. I think it's also a bit cliche that metal bassist tend to think that Warwick is the be all and end all. They are much more versatile than that. I think if I came into a lot of money and could have a bit of a splurge on basses, a Warwick would be in there. I was offered an endorsement a while ago and if not for the fact that I had to go to Germany to seal the deal, I probably would have done it. I've always lusted after a green oil Stage I 5 string. The black one I got for a while was utterly sexy, but I would only ever get one after picking up a few other basses first.
25. Quite like the fret markers
