You might be right, shame really as it's probably the best Jazz Bass I've owned, I'd definitely keep mine if I hadn't fallen in love with 32" scale basses. I agree they look better with minty scratch plates

[/quote] Unfortunately I can't think of anything you could just pop in to a guitar shop and try, I think Bass Direct sell a few Maruszczyk's but the last time I checked they didn't have any 32" scale ones in stock.
