  1. As per title, this is a long shot but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could source a diagram for an Atelier Z EQ/M 2 band preamp.? I would try Atelier Z but the contact is all in Japanese. Ive also contacted Bass Freaks and Danny Stewart but they haven't got back to me yet. Any ideas most welcome.
  2. I played a Fibenare all long way back and it was stunning.
  3. I bought my first brand new Sadowsky RV5 directly from Sadowsky about 10 years ago. Was £1700. I think their a little overpriced nowadays.
  4. actually that would annoy me. It looks like one of those lovely black headstock 55-02's. Props to not giving out the shops name.
  5. The only thing that would bother me is the headstock. Pics of the gap.??
  6. Hey I'm just here to push new music. I blame my sister with her amazing musical taste. Everything played by Otis Mcdonald.
  7. 70s jazz bass spacing. Ash top maple neck. The AZ preamp gives it some beef. It sounds to me like a 70's jazz. Still sounds like a 70's jazz. Excuse the horrible timing, its not like I was recording myself.
  8. Did he.? I didn't know that.
  9. I love jazz basses. I find the tone much more interesting than any other bass tbh. More versatile. The 70's jazz bass for me just has that tone.. My only negative is they can sound thin. I used to own a Suhr custom 70's jazz below. I A\B ,d it with a Fender Original 74 and the Fender sounded huge. Obviously the pickup wind. You can also have a jazz with single coils with no hum. The Suhr had single coils with no hum at all. Amazing sounding and feeling instrument. Probably the best Jazz bass I've ever played.
  10. Thankyou. No i just wanted to keep the bass as original as possible.
  11. All of us think about music and im with everyone of you.
  12. I asked the guys at Atelier Z for a custom colour they do as I wanted to keep the bass OG. They said Blue Pearl.
  13. David Wilson is the real deal.
  14. Amazing bass playing, amazing swing, amazing groove.. amazing backing vocals,.. His voice for me is just...
  15. Badass Incognito. Randy HOPE Taylor on bass.
  16. Any idea where i could get adhesive tort/pearl material to cover a pickguard. To cover and cut to shape on an existing pickguard if that makes sense.? Thanks for any info.
  17. You really don't see many TRUE custom ordered Atelier Z's for sale. This is a beauty. Like most Ateliers they are incredibly well made and amazingly resonant. Just like mine. 😁
  18. Dishwasher. Works a treat
  19. Ah brill. Thankyou for taking the time and the info. Lovely looking P Bass. Its a sunburst or the Sonic blue with matching headstock. Leaningtord the sunburst tbh. Anything lacking with the stock pickups.?
  20. I haven't actually. Im never sure that a bitsa is going to be great or not tbh. I could be totally wrong.
  21. That would be cool thank you. And some pics of your bass is a must im afraid.!😁
  22. Some might know I owned a Squire CV 70's in black a while back. Didn't really gel with it. For some reason it didn't have that round P Bass tone. I recently played a Squire 60's p bass from the early 80's and it was just fabulous, . Soooo, I thought I would give a P another go.They are cheap and get good reviews. This time a 60's CV P I'm looking a.. Ive got a Bartolini P pup set if the pickups aren't up to scratch.. Seems they have the neck dimensions between a jazz and a P. Does anyone own one, are they much different to the 70's CV Squire.. if so what are your thoughts.?
