  1. Straight sale available for £925 collected. Courier will be extra £40 on top to cover insurance. I am selling my "Year of Birth" bass that I purchased a couple of years ago. Since owning it I have rarely played it and it has been kept in the original hardcase, this is only because I only really play Precisions and cannot used to this short scale, mainly purchased because its my YOB bass. The EB-0 is designed for players that want to plug in and let it rip. One big Gibson humbucking pickup in the middle position with a single tone and volume to dial in your desired sound. This EB-0 is in stunning condition for it's age. Original parts including the stock bridge cover and thumb rest apart from the string retainer below the bridge that was added by a previous user. Some buckle rash and scratches but nothing considering the guitars vintage! Also includes the Original pink lined Gibson hardcase.
  2. 2014 version of the Fender Aerodyne Jazz bass, decent condition, small marks and some surface scratches, but well looked after. There is a small dent on the front of the bass near the E string inbetween the Precision and Jazz pickups. Comes with a decent fitted hardcase.
  3. REDUCED £270 collected, delivery available for £25. Selling my Variax 500 guitar, great guitar but as a bassist I don't pick this up as much as I should do other than to play the opening of "Norwegian Wood" using the Coral Electric Sitar effect or "Duelling Banjos" using the Gibson Mastertone banjo effect. 😄 Everything is in great condition as you can see from the pictures, great flexible guitar effects work really well. Looking for the bass version. Price is for collection only, delivery possible for £25, or I can meet up for petrol money The manual for the 500 is available here: Variax 500/700 User Manual Variax 500 Features Contoured basswood body Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and pearl dots 22 medium profile frets 25 1/2" scale length 10" fingerboard radius Standard 1/4" guitar output jack Digital I/O jack for Vetta II connectivity Volume and tone controls respond faithfully for each model Included XPS A/B footswitch selects between two outputs: 1/4" standard guitar output for connection to any guitar amp XLR balanced output for sending acousticsounds to a separate amp or PA Powered by footswitch, on-board batteries, Vetta II or PODxt Live Custom-fitted heavy-duty gig bag Available in Sunburst, Black, or Candy Apple Red Left-handed version is available in all colors Variax 500 Models based on*: 1960 Fender® Telecaster® Custom 1968 Fender® Telecaster® 1968 Fender® Telecaster® Thinline 1959 Fender® Stratocaster® 1958 Gibson® Les Paul® Standard 1952 Gibson® Les Paul® "Goldtop" 1961 Gibson® Les Paul® Custom (3 PU) 1956 Gibson® Les Paul® Junior 1976 Gibson® Firebird V 1955 Gibson® Les Paul® Special 1959 Gretsch® 6120 1956 Gretsch® Silver Jet 1968 Rickenbacker® 360 1966 Rickenbacker® 360-12 1961 Gibson® ES®-335 1967 Epiphone® Casino 1957 Gibson® ES-175 1953 Gibson® Super 400 1959 Martin® D-28 1970 Martin® D 12-28 1967 Martin® O-18 1966 Guild® F212 1995 Gibson® J-200 1935 Dobro® Alumilite Danelectro 3021 Coral/Dano® Electric Sitar Gibson® Mastertone Banjo 1928 National® Style 2 "Tricone"
  4. The price looks good in comparison to other vendors, up to £200 cheaper. The YouTube videos I have seen for this impress me due to the varied tone capabilities.
  5. All, Ashdown have a few Little Stubbys up for sale on Reverb: Reverb listing At only £399 worth getting?
  6. I see Kala now sell round wound sets, although I imagine it would take some adjustment to swiitch between these and the Aquila Strings
  7. Purchased this bass toward the end of last year from GuitarGuitar, here: https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/pxp191018349985001--csl-circa-1970s-4-string-plexi-bass-pre-owned It’s a great example of CSL’s tribute to the Dan Armstrong Plexi Bass. Only selling as I want to get back from being a collector of basses that I don't play, I play my Nate Mendel precision most of the time, everything else stays in its case/bag or looks good on display. These short scale basses were made by fugigen, same basses carrying Ibanez name also The bass dates to the mid 70’s and is in great condition as you will see from the pictures attached. Whilst the case is structurally sound it does show show signs of age, again shown in the pictures. Price is £499 which is what I paid, I am in Ipswich if collecting otherwise £30 for delivery.
  8. Looking to sell the CSL Plexi bass mentioned in the OP. Fantastic looking and sounding bass but I am stuck on Precision’s. I think my Gibson EB0 is next. Anybody recommend a marketplace other than our own to sell vintage basses?
  9. Was this one of the Gibson Grabbers from '09 or have they been re-relased again?
  10. I keep coming back to the Blackstar Beam for practice, 40w, decent bass response, can be found new for £150. Does have some bells and whistles in as much as it can be used as bluetooth music streaming speaker, has an onboard tuner and effects for guitar and acoustic also
  11. £119 - https://www.raingerfx.com/product/minibar-liquid-analyser/ I like that they are trying something different.
  12. Thanks skybone. I was hoping to keep the lb30 sound at low levels. Stick with the Blackstar beam after hours!
  13. Recently purchased this LB30 with matching LB112 cab, love it. Later at night, its a little bit loud for home use, could I use a powersoak with this? From what I have read so far I believe it should be okay as its a lower power amp, but just looking for confirmation Thanks
  14. I am selling a recently acquired guitar, love the look of it, but I just don't have the chops to do it justice. Its a great guitar, as new, includes all case candy. Price is for collection, but can offer courier for £30. Key Features One-piece maple neck with "C" profile, "bullet" truss rod and "large" Stratocaster headstock 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets Dual custom-designed high-output humbucking pickups Four control knobs (volume and tone for each pickup) Vintage-style string-through-body Stratocaster hard-tail bridge Here’s what Fender say: Chris Shiflett has his feet firmly planted in two worlds, with impeccable punk/hard rock credentials as longtime guitarist in the Foo Fighters and with an authentic love for country, as heard in Chris Shiflett & the Dead Peasants. His abiding love for the Telecaster guitar and for huge humbucking sound comes together in one kickass instrument with his name on it—the Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe. Modeled on his favorite '72 Tele Deluxe, it's an especially affordable beauty that rocks hard with authentic Fender tone. 12” Fingerboard Radius This instrument features a fingerboard radius (the amount of curvature across the width of the fingerboard) that, at 12", is substantially more flattened than both a vintage-style 7.25" radius and a modern 9.5" radius. Feels notably flat even though there’s still slight curvature, and is great for bending notes without fretting out. Shiflett Humbucking Pickups Chris Shiflett’s signature Tele Deluxe is armed with a powerful pair of specially voiced Chris Shiflett "CS" humbucking pickups with nickel covers. F-Stamped Tuners Chris Shiflett’s Telecaster Deluxe model features the nicely authentic touch of sealed tuners stamped with the stylized capital "F" from the classic Fender script logo.
