  6. That is just stunning. I'm playing 50s style Squier Precisions - superb basses in their own right - and there's something about these basses that just works so well. They absolutely roar with overdrive, whuch suits me fine 😁 You've inspired me to look into building my own!
  7. Upon The My-O-My - Captain Beefheart
  8. Loz bought my GSS Baby Sumo amp, in another contender for my quickest sale ever. Loz very generously paid extra to cover the postage, declined my offer to refund the difference if any and even offered to make up the difference when it cost slightly more than expected. Loz is a credit to our community and hopefully we'll do some more business in future. Enjoy the amp Loz!
  9. Hamburger Concerto - Focus
  10. I have just watched the whole thing, and suffered through Lobster's squeaky DI sound... it is a real bass though isn't it? Apart from the knob comedy at the start of course. Unless there's something else I'm missing! I'm being a bit unfair to Lobster. He's one of the fairest bass reviewers on Youtube.
  11. I didn't start playing until late '95 as a penniless teenager so probably missed them. Not that I would have been in any position to try or order one for a good few years!
  12. Booby My Like Fe Away is a better title 😁 Dance of Death - Maiden
  13. Music and oral health, two equally hot but differently-shaped potatoes.

  15. Before my time 😄
  16. Snake Bite Love - Motorhead
  17. The Final Curtain - Tony Banks
  18. Golden Days - Jack Bruce
  19. Is it a joke? Seems a bit much to actually build an april fools' bass rather than knock up a crude photoshop...
  20. Burning Love - Elvis
  21. I remember Carvin were always in Bass Player magazine back in the 90s, but they always seemed like a US brand - I never saw them over here. I always loved the look of them though, especially Chris Squire's, probably the only 6 string I've seen that looks completely natural and not an expanded 4 string. It's a pity they were taken over by that colossal anchor Kiesel.
