  1. Hi all, Having a minor clear out of bits and pieces as I've bought something I shouldn't have and am looking to recoup the pennies by selling a few items I've had lurking in the 'stuff drawer' for a while! I'm looking to shift this as one little bundle as individual postage just wouldn't be worth the effort. So, for £35 including postage you get: A set of strap pins (NOT Dunlop!) 3 Capos 4 rubber strap lock things Some plecs 4 black metal knobs 4 silver cap Marshall knobs 2 patch pedal connectors A set of odd toaster pickups An old Fender strap A set of unbranded jazz pickups A P-Bass type wiring loom Gotta to be worth £35 to someone!
  2. Been working for GuitarGuitar long? 😆
  3. These are actually really very good acoustic basses. Could be worth auctioning it and donating the money to your chosen charity as I suspect it'd fetch a few hundred.
  4. I think you'll find it's a 58 Reissue 'Briecision' Bass...
  5. With the eBay thing, I agree that's perfect reasonable! I had a listing for a 'Faux' Gretsch bass on here at £200, a few nibbles but no takers, lobbed it on eBay (after saying 'now on eBay' on the sale thread) and it sold this evening for £240, so £40 more than advertised on here. Nowt wrong with offering last, and potentially discounted, prices here before chucking things on the bay.
  6. That rig was incredible. Probably THE best rig available on the planet if I'm honest! But, for now, my Mesa Big Block and Purple Chili Phatt Bass 750 have me more than covered!
  7. I have one of these in the Bronco casing with a Powerhouse 4x10 cab. Been through a ton of expensive, light weight rigs in recent years, and these Mesa rigs just kill them all. Great amps and cabs.
  8. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325698689482?hash=item4bd52799ca:g:WtIAAOSwND9ibvH0 Low action... he actually says 'low action'... 🤣
  9. It's not actually headless though is it! It has a head... just bolted to the body. False advertising I say!!!
  10. If this is still available and you'd consider posting, I'd be interested. Understand if postage is 100% off the cards!
  11. Yup, and The Bronx. Great show all round.
  12. Lars was definitely less animated, but he did put on a good show! I'm feeling like an absolute husk of a man today... pitting for 2 straight hours is a young man's game!
  13. It was a challenge to take any photos without loosing my phone - the crush at the front was pretty fierce! I did take a fair few more but most are out of focus and not really worth looking at. Not sure on the firm numbers, I'd guess at 5 to 7 thousand maybe? The below was taken just before the last support act, it got more rammed during the build up to Rancid coming on.
  14. Got a few cool snaps... went fully old skool and got right to the barrier. Absolutely dying now.
  15. Email the CEO - Details below.
  16. Anyone else seeing Rancid tonight? Not seen them in years! Looking forward to getting sweaty in the pit!
  17. Definitely not short scale! Not measured it but it's no less than 34" that for sure!
  18. And you just won't die!!! 😂
  19. Well, let me know if you have readies that are close to the asking amount of readies! Not too often a Faux Gretsch (Grinch?) pops up!
  20. Now on eBay (Well, as of 7pm tonight).
  21. Thought so. I'm the one being held by that doushce with the sunglasses...
  22. You're the one on the shoulder of that bearded guy right?
  23. I bought this fairly recently, but as I've just bought a new bike (I know, NOT a bass!) I need to recoup some funds. It's a Chinese made faux 'Gretsch' White Falcon, its been properly set up, it plays really well, it has a 'kill switch' on the upper bout, the action is really nice and low, no dings or dents, all in a great playing bass. Looking for £200 for it, I can post if need be as I have a few boxes (but no case!). Call it £220 shipped or £200 collected from Wickford, Essex.
  24. To chime in again, these older eden heads are great bits of kit. I've been right round the houses over the years, from the actual heaviest amps in the world to the lightest and now I'm back to the heavier ones because they just frankly sound better! Currently running an older Mesa rig and it just kills against Trickfish and GR Bass, not to say those aren't superb amps, but honestly, the older heavier stuff just rocks.
