  1. something aggie..... same kinda puch, and easier on the spine!
  2. it's a penguin sticker! T'will peel off sir, I couldnt bring myself to do it, i like the penguin!
  3. It handles the low F#'s a treat man! I'm thinking about going as low as £1400... Only because I can buy what I want with that! Be warned that if what I want sells, then this will get withdrawn! Limited time only, full orange stack for £1400, c'mon, that's a cheap cheap price!!!! Russ.
  4. This was the same rig that got a load of attention a few weeks ago! Just so happens I've seen a real nice lighter beast. It probably won't delivery the same trouser flapping madness as this but hey, we'll see!
  5. Dont split it! thats an offense... You must wait until I can buy it all!
  6. A slightly more comprehensive ad will help you sell it man, i.e. condition, year, model number, case/no case etc and a few more high res pics of the fretboard, headstock etc will defo help too! Oh, and its BASS not BASE good luck bud! Russ.
  7. Hey guys, I picked this up last month from one of our brothers on Bass Chat, but I have seen another rig that takes my fancy, so yet again I must place this beasty up for grabs! I know you know the score with these beasts, 200w of pure valve power, I know people tend to judge a rigs max volume by its wattage, but with pure valve rigs, 200w (like this orange) sounds more like 1000w. This thing is LOUD. Just as an example, I can only get it up to quater volume absolute tops in the house and that literally rattles the light fittings. The head is 100% fully working or course its in pretty good overall condition, it has a few minor nicks in the orange covering, but nothing major. The head has 2 4ohm outs and 1 8ohm out, I run it with each of the 2 4ohm outs running to a jack in of the rear of each cab, though you can daisy chain them if you want! The head was built in October 2004. I was looking at GAK.co.uk for a fair 'new' price and they retail for £1428 The OCB 4x10 cab is again 100% fully working and in the same cosmetic condition as the head, one or two minor nicks, but nothing major at all. The black grill cover is in excellent condition as are all the speakers. It has 2 jack and 2 speakon inputs on the rear and is dated 'March 2005'. On GAK.co.uk this is £732 The OCB 1x15 cab is the same deal, 100% fully working, great looking, with a couple of minor scuffs. The black cover is spot on, as are the speakers etc etc. Again, there are 2 jack and 2 speakon inputs and its also dated 'March 2005' On GAK.co.uk this is £497 So if you bought it all new, thats a total of £2657 pure valve orange power! Anyone is welcome to come and have a try and see how awesome this beast really is! The rig, as I'm sure you can imagine, is not that light, the head weighs 24kg, the 1x15 is about 30kg and the 4x10 is about 35kg. I'm offering this rig at £1500, which is basically like you buying the head and getting the 4x10 and 1x15 for free! As I said, everything is 100% working and it was re-valved a year ago, feel free to come and try it. Collection is deffinitely preffered, but I can meet up to 100 or so miles for the cost of fuel. You can ever organise your own courier at your own risk/cost! So thats that, £1500 for £2657 worth of orange. These are fantastic amps and look amazing, you will not be dissapointed if you come try her out I'm on 07912222127 if you want to chat or arrange a viewing. I'm not really up for trades, but if you have a very high quality head and cabs, at least 500w and reasonably light, then I MAY be interested, though I have my sights pretty much set on what I want. 8. £50 is a real good price... These are real good basses with a nice vintage vibe. Who ever buys this will be pleasently surprised
  9. This is the only yammy bass I've ever had a real interest in... A beaut sir, a beaut! How much 'trade value' are you looking for?? Give me an idea sir and I'll see what I can offer... Russ.
  10. Tasty bass mate! I do have a 5 string going, but it's worth a quarter of the price of yours... It's an Ibanez ATK405, if only I could Jedi mind trick you into believing it's the same value Russ.
  11. Hey, no sorry mate, it's gone... Just to add... Everything in this post has been sold! There isn't anything left, apart from the Spector which I'm holding on to! Russ.
  12. Bought an Orange AD200 MK3, OBC4x10 and OBC1x15 off of Ally a few days ago. T'was a smooth and easy transaction Ally is a genuinely good bloke, and even gave me a little extra discount without me even asking, so bonus! Deal with confidence, this man is to be trusted. His beard though... Well, it gave me a funny look... Cheers man! If you're ever in Essex, you know where the tea and bourbons are! (I don't actually have any bourbons, I lied!) Russ.
  13. Trouble shooting this issue was easier with your help guys, so thanks! Everything is quite as a mouse now indeed, a decent supply is in order, though currently I'm far to poor for such things, though for the future, which is the best power supply? I have 10 pedals to power... Russ.
  14. Right... After well over am hour of trying different combinations of different pedals and power supplies I have found the problem.... I have a US made Rocktron Cyborg reverb, and on it's own itsnot at fault, but whenever I power it with a power brick and any other pedal is also plugged into the same power brick, I get the high pitched hum... The more pedals I run along side the reverb in the same power brick, the louder the noise. So, I am now about to try and arrange my board withthe reverb powered alone and not with any other pedal... Fingers crossed.
  15. Not to be the bearer of bad news boys, but this rig is sitting pretty in my house these days! And a beast she is...
  16. I've got half a day off tomoz (birthday ) so before celebrate I'll be pulling apart the board. I have a suspicion that the problem may lie within the patch cables or power supply... If I find the problem, I'll post the solution! Russ.
  17. Hey, thanks for your responses! Yes the cab has a tweeter, could that be effected by some issue on the board? OBBM: cheers, I'll try and see if I can single out the problem by running the chain one by one until the issue occurs, if that fails, I'll message back in here!
  18. Hey guys, I've just recently aquired a mighty Orange AD200 MK3 rig with matching Orange 4x10 and 1x15 from one of our brothers here on BC The rig works 100% fine, its a real beaut, but when I hook up my pedal board I get a slight High pitched hum, the more I increase the gain or volume, the louder it gets, and as soon as I switch on the limiter pedal, or the distortion pedal, the hum is amplified 10 fold, making it impossible to play at any volume. I would REALLY appreciate some advise on how to get rid of this noise, so I'm just left with a noiseless signal flow. Here's how its set up, just incase I've done something stupid... (possible!) The head has 2 4ohm outs which are running to each of the cabs, the power cable is plugged into a 4 point extension lead. The "active" input on the amp goes to a limiter pedal, then a DD-20, then a power brick (quite a chepa one) then a polytune, then an Ibanez Phat head, then a SouceAudio flanger, then a cyborg reverb, then a Boss SYB-5, then a roland expression pedal, then an Ernie Ball jr volume pedal and finally a Morley Bass Wah II (the morley is the only thing powered by a seperate powerbrick) Both power bricks plug into a 2 point extention cable, attached to the board, so that I can the power EVERYTHING with just one plug. That plug is then plugged into the same 4 point extension as the amp itself. The board does have a solid a good signal flow with reasonable patch cables that I've used before with no hum. I have coiled up both the power brick leads and the expression pedal lead to save space and prevent tangles, which I've heard... MAY produce feedback? If anyone knows there stuff and is local (Wickford, Essex) then they would be very welcome to help me out with this issue, I can provide all the tea you want complete with bourbons and you'd be very welcome to try you hand at any of my basses. (see signature!) I'm hoping one of you tech geniuses can help me deal with this as all the gear is amazing to play with but this hum just spoils it! Thanks, Russ.
  19. Hey guys, I have 2 sets of Epiphone Les Paul pick ups, they seem pretty much spot on condition wise and they've each got a decent length of wire attached. Each set consists of the neck pick up and the bridge pick up, they are P-90 in style. Let's say £20 a set delivered? Or £35 for both sets (so you'll get all four pick ups!) Let me know of any interesting trades as well.... Russ.
  20. Bought a 'Fibson' from Moos3h today, it's exactly as described, and it was a smooth and easy deal cheers buddy, deal with this man and you shall not be dissapointed! Russ.
  21. Well, I now have a guitar... So let me know what you got to trade!! Basses, Guitars etc etc. If not I'll happily hang on to this for a while
  22. Hey guys, I bought these of here about a month or so ago for £40 each, I thought I'd offer them as a pair for £70 (£75 delivered) as they are now surplus to requirements after getting a cyborb reverb and a DD-20 delay. They are both in excellent working order and great condition And they are both boxed! I only have one power supply which is kind of why im just listing them as a pair. To buy them both brand new it would cost you £150 (£75 each) and thats with me quoting the cheapest price I found! I've only included stock pictures because I dont have a great camera, just my iPhone, and its dark in here.... but rest assured they are in spot on condition, and 100% working, the boxes are in reasonable condition too! The Holy Stain is a little multi effects unit with two types of adjustable reverb, tremelo and pitch shift, with a distortion and overdrive too, the memory boy is a little delay unit with some interesting reverb-ish effects. Yours for £70 collected (wickford, essex) or £75 delivered. I'm on 07912222127 if you want to chat! I don't want trades as I'm trying to sell to buy something else on here, and I'm pretty firm on £70, as its a tenner less than I paid a month ago and its less than HALF the new price. PM me, phone or text! I can text or email pictures if necassery. Russ.
  23. PS, I can chuck in an EHX memory boy and an EHX holy stain, both boxed but with only one power supply. I'd say they are worth £40 each, so if your guitar is at about £450 in value, then I can give you these too!
