1. Anyone know where I can find the diagram or is it the same as any other Fender?
2. Give Max at [sfx] a shout, I'm sure he'll be able to help! Here's link http://www.sfxsound.co.uk/mainpage.asp?page=home
3.
Lucky as I have found my perfect basses I guess. You wait to you see the one that he is working on for me at the moment! As for the trussrod, I'm not fussed really - it's on a long term loan! He's had that bass for some time to demo as basses never seem to stick around long enough for people to try out. In terms of breaking, I'm sure he'll put it back together. I've seen him do some more extensive surgery that would break most people's hearts... yet you'd never know by the time he has finished! I try to give the GB basses praise because they are like no other bass. Everybody says that about their chosen bass, but now you have played one and seen and heard the electronics in them... you understand! The baby blue spit is well cool - there have been some quality works of art coming out of Bernie's bassment of late! Sounds like he was on form anyway - what with his usual sense of humour!
Cool, I completely understand where are you coming from! The bass obvioulsy isn't broken Now having heard the electronics I'm truly blown away by 3 things : 1. The sound of those pickups, 2. The fact that whilst setting up someone's bass and answering questions Bernie overheard me failing miserably at trying to slap so he came over and tweaked the knobs saying "this is the best slpa sound" and the sound was f***ing gorgeus, 3. The bloke in general is really nice
4. +1 to the above companies! Used Axetec for my guitarist wiring kit, ordered Thursday 9pm and got it on Saturday morning!
5.
My bass was there even if I wasn't! That gymnastic horse makes quite a good bass surgery table!
You are one lucky bastard you know I now know why you praise EBS rigs and GB basses so much, having played it it does sound very cool! Shame Bernie had to break your bass to show us what's what

9. A massive thank you for our organisers who provided us with some fine food and great place. Great things for me : Playing the most amazing wah-wah in the world, this thing is insane and my GAS is all fired up again. Seeing that some people have more basses than me so I can tell my missus there are worse offenders Bernie from GB being a nice chap to chat with and actually helping all of us to realise what is what. Playing 2 GB Rumour 6-strings - WOW just WOW. Seeing the rig of doom that was parked next to me Not so great : Bloody hot weather !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No idea what brought this on. I wanted to see if things had progressed this morning or not, and they haven't. So I'm afraid Plux and I wont make it after all (I wouldnt get to the end of my road, let alone London!). Have a lovely time all of you!
Hope you'll get better soon mate! 15. Will there be a drummer with us on the day ?
16. Well my guitarist always has them on full but his guitar is a bit of a puzzle because he bought it in 2005 but the pots were dating back to 1995 so a huge question mark appeared in my head and I was thinking WTF? When I took the pots out I took a DMM to measure them and funnily enough 2 were around 600k, 1 was 390k and 1 was 470k. I've bought a whole new wiring kit including some orange drop caps that replaced the ceramic discs!
17. very cool! Nice work!
18. any chance of a close-up pic? it looks nice For the bar have a look in homebase
19. Another +1 for OBBM, Dave has made speaker cables for me and my guitarist and they just look the business and the cable itself is very thick and chunky which imo is a good thing!
20. Will you be bringing this to the Bash? I would like to give it a go and see if it's what I'm looking for. Cheers Jack
21.
Looks like Plux and I will make it Can someone confirm that there's no conjestion charge on a Sunday??
there's no c-charge on the weekend and the location is far away from the zone anyway!
22. Had a bit of time playing this beast and dear god it sounds immense! Alex has wired the cab in a way that allows me to use GK bi-amping feature and combined this set up is f*cking amazing. I cwn finally achieve the sound I was looking for fir so long. As for volume...you'd have to hear it to believe it!!!!
