  3. Try the music radar website. They have a musician wanted section. Saying that, we have yet to find a guitarist, but it is another avenue for you. Good luck. Mike
  4. Are you or do you know a talented guitarist. Established band, Dropzone, requires an easy going and competent new member to complete the line up. Many local gigs booked including festivals. We play mainly metal covers from bands such as KoRn, Slipknot, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit…. If you feel you have what it takes and want to tear it up call PJ on 07766707523 or email: [email protected] Thanks for looking guys.
  5. Hi, I am interested in this if it becomes available again. Ta Mike
  6. Really tempted but this is just out of my price range. Looks fantastic!
  7. I don't suppose you have any need to come south at all??? I am in Chichester but would be willing to meet? Or be going to or know someone Ozzfest at the O2 on Saturday? If so I'll have it. Ta Mike
  8. I live in chichester, near to Brighton, so Poole is still around 100 miles away. If you have reason to come this way or if you are willing to look at your route, I would gladly travel a few miles out of my way. Ta Mike
  9. I don't suppose you have cause to come to the south coast at all? If so, I could be tempted. Ta Mike
  10. Hi David I will take it, if it is still available. I am on the south coast, near Chichester, if you ever get over this way. Cheers Mike
  11. It is already probably on here somewhere but I couldn't find the "search". I want to be pretentious and get some personalised picks. Can anyone recommend anyone? Many thanks Mike
  12. Hi John We regularly play at the Admiral Drake in Portsmouth. Would you be averse to me testing it out at a gig situation? I promise to be gentle ;-) Thanks Mike
  13. Will definately have to try one out. I am not sure when I will next be over at Brighton way. Is it possible to collect during working hours as I am sure I could find something I need to do over that way as I work for WSCC ;-) Thanks Mike
  14. If I hadn't just bought a broken one and also the encoders from Behringer spares I would snap this up at asking price. This is definately a bargain at £40. Not even sure what the postage cost is?
  15. Noooooooooooo. I have just bought a duff one of these that needs repairing for this price. If you get desperate, I 'll give you £30 to save me the effort of replacing two of the encoders ;-) Thanks Mike
  16. Thanks for replying. I am in Chichester on the south coast and regularly gig in Bognor, Portsmouth and Southampton. Is the compact big enough to take the MB on top or would it be the other way round? Thanks Mike
  17. Hi Alex I have a Jeff Berlin Combo and need an extension cab as it is not quite loud enough for gigs. Do you have anything in your armoury that would sit nicely with this? Just out of interest can you get your cones in MB yellow? Many thanks Mike
  18. Well, it would appear I was trying the right thing, but toching the lead to the pot was not a good enough connection. One blob of solder solved the problem. Woo hoo. I shal be using the bass at our gig tonight at the Admiral Drake in Portsmouth. Many thanks to those who responded. Mike
  19. Thanks for responding. It is a black wire that I presumed was an earth. There are about a million wires hidden in this thing!!!! Not sure what to try next???? Thanks Mike
  20. Hi Gang Does anyone know anyone or have reasonable knowledge of how active pick ups work. My bass failed at soundcheck at the last gig. Luckily I took a spare along with me. Upon inspection I have found a black wire that has come disconnected. I have touched it onto where I think it has come off (on the volume casing), but this does not solved the problem. I am in the Chichester area of West Sussex (South Coast) and there is a beer in it for whoever can help ;-) I do have a photo I can email, but can't work out how to place it onto here? Many thanks in advnace. Mike
  21. I have the fieldy K5, with 5 different knobs on it. All seem to do the same thing differently. The band hate it when I take the mid out, but it is an awesome instrument. We play Freak on a leash in B flat and I think it is the same as the original. Cheers Mike
  22. I used to play mainly guitar and have not got over using picks. I have tried but it is just built in. I use Dunlops Green 0.83, same as Lacuna Coils bassist. Thanks for the heads up guys. Mike
  23. Hi Gang It is time for me to get pretentious and get some personalised pics. Does anyone have any experiance or recommendations for anyone who does bass pics? Cheers Mike
