1. On topic sort of but a bit to the left. Can anyone tell me how / if you can add your own bass drum to EZD and if so does anyone have a link to one that is a good warm dance drum sound (thinking David Guetta) Thanks Mike
2. Thanks Dood, easier to pick up one of these than get it to Brighton and back, plus I bought it second hand so Alex has yet to directly have any of my cash yet. Please note the word yet ;-)
3. Hadn't thought of that ;-) How cheeky can I be?
4. hi Gang I have carpet coming off my Mk 1 Barefaced compact. Is there any particular glue / method anyone would recommend to replace it? Thanks Mike
5. We have not played there for a few years but were famous for being the loudest band that ever played there ;-) not best, just loudest ;-) A sad loss, as is the White Horse in Bognor.
6. Hmmmm, where can I find one of these lady birds and do fender make one ;-)
7. Thanks for that. I will have a good trawl through them tonight. Saw Korn last night doing their new dubstep thing which was brilliant!!!!
8. Hi Gang i have EZ drummer, which I am really happy with, but is anyone aware of how to add a dubsteb kind of bass drum sound into this or would I have to run a separate track? Also does anyone have a really good dubstep drum sample or link? Ta Mike
9. Me, batteries, switched, cables, jacks, and amps have a continuity issue and I am always having something go down on me and sadly it is not my misses. I always take a back up bass with me but all my fives are active so I immediately start worrying about the battery! So, can you recemmend to me a back up bass with the following chatecteristics. 1. Is passive but has some tone to it. 2. Has 5 strings 3. Has renowned reliability for switches and jacks not crackling or cutting out. 4. Doesn't look too boring. I suppose my budget is around £200 and am happy to consider second hand. Thanks for looking. Mike
10.
Puke? A lot of fluids (both bodily and alcoholic) have made it's way on to my instruments, but never puke! Stomache acid is very corrosive. I have seen a drinks can ring pull completely disolve within 20mins in a flask of stomache acid, so make sure that your bass is completely removed of all puke. Gosh...I couldn't imagine what the smell must be like!
Hmmm, I am a bit worried about where you got a flask of stomach acid from?????

I think so. I downloaded the windows 32 bit and I am running XP service pack 2? I think that makes sense?

VST Help

I suspect this is a simple question with a simple answer but I am a bit stumped. I have downloaded a free VST synthesiser and unzipped it into the VSTplugins that I direct reaper to but it does not want to see it. What am I doing wrong? Ta Mike
14. Used to regularly play a pub in Crawley that was a bit like that, but was our best payer for a while. Always fightsand agro and you had to shift your gear through the pub. I was really happy when we dropped it for venues that actually appreciate music.
15. I am in and in VST heaven!!!
16. Does anyone know What do I have to turn on to get the midi track to record what I am playing on the EZ drum kit? Ta Mike
17. Thank you, I would never have found this!
18. I am massively loving it and will be trying to buy a korg microkey tomorrow. Thanks for the hint about the bpm in reaper. Is there a click track in reaper and how do you turn it on? As the groove is the repeat of a bar, it is possible to have a bar of known length and propogate it. The bpm answer above may solve this, but I am not sure. The Drumkit from hell will not paste into the file where I would expect it to go. It gets most of the way and then something fails and it all cancells. Again many thanks
19. And bizarrely am really enjoying Samba?????
20. Just got EZ drummer working. Thanks for the VSTi tip. Had a little moment to myself. Now comes some questions. 1. Can you vary the pace of the "groove" 2. Can you set the pace of a bar, as I am going to be recording or a midi keyboard and suspect my timing will be a little out. 3. I have the East West drumkit from hell2 expansion pack but it won't recognise it. Help Many thnaks Mike
21. Many thanks will give a try tonight
22. Time for a daft computrickery question. Does ezdrummer have to sit directly in the newly created (by me) VST folder in programs x86 or can it be in a sub folder to be recognised? Thanks in advance.
23. Many thanks will be looking into this again tomorrow
