1.
There are a few nice Spector basses here in the "For Sale" forum, they might still be for sale. Check them out!
+1
 2. Along the lines of what the great Devin Townsend said, guitarists can do all their fret w***ing and fiddly bits to their hearts content. However i'm going to stand here and hold it and down... and until i change my mind we're in C. We are fundamental to the music
 3. Lots of Jamiroquai! After watching a few of Huwberry's videos on his youtube i gave them a crack myself. Some fun stuff
 4. I remember somone (might have been you B5) posted this a while back in a gospel thread. Such a good player, and i swear he breaks into giant steps in this vid
 5. Easily my favourite signature bass
 6. More gigs and sort out some smaller cabs so I don't have to lug the 4x10 everywhere. Probably going to get rid of my EA CXL112 as well as I am in dire need of money haha
 7. My first set up was a Stagg BC300 into a Kustom 10 watt bass amp I now play through an Eden WT400 with the XLT 4X10 and my trusty Warwick Corvette Bit of a move up in the world...
 8.
Mark King can slap "better" than a guy with one arm? Wow. What revelations will you have for us next Chris2112?
The Mark King version is pretty dire
 9. We're looking at getting our EP duplicated soon (after it's been mixed and mastered etc). As we'd only be needing around 100 to 200 what would be the best move? I've asked for a quote from disc wizards about the cardboard sleeve jobbies. Any advice?
 10. Used to have a fretless one of these, brilliant basses. Wish i didn't sell it now

 13.
i like the technique..im sure there are many other variations that call for more... but for this is there anything here you couldnt pop?
I thought that, but its just one of those techniques that i'd actually never use in a song... but just like to be able to have it in the bag and be able to pull out now again.
 14.
hi I have a (as new/unused) Warwick Rockbass Corvette 5-string in black - would you be interested in a trade?
Not really what i'm looking for thanks mate
 15.
Which nut does this have
The brass one?
 16. I've always wanted to get the double thumbing technique down. I've tried some of the youtube tutorials but I just can't seem to get it. As for other techniques, I just watch one of Andy Saxton's videos and wonder where to start haha
 17.
you posted 2 times bro..
sh*tty uni internet ¬_¬
 18. Really nice groove to this song from Timmy C http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KEKL8fcvzY Love playing along to this for the tapping after the intro. To me it sounds like someone desperately trying to escape. Plus the drummers pretty good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KEKL8fcvzY
 19.
These sound absolutely amazing, and is well worth £550 of anyones money
+1 brilliant bit of kit
 20. Well we have an intro that we actually play, but then that goes into our first proper song. I was thinking more of a song to put on while we got up on stage and sorted stuff out etc. It seems like they're rather marmite... I quite like them and we're thinking of using the stingray theme
 21.
What you mean played through the PA from an audio source?
Yeah exactly that
But then again, we are small time pubs, clubs and functions so it would be to pretentious imo
I though this, but depending on the song i thought it could be a bit of fun. Like when i saw set your goals they came on to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles haha
 22. I'm not sure if this has been done before but was just wondering if any bands on here had an intro song before they went on-stage. Just curious really and thinking of maybe using one for my band
