    You know, having watched the video right through and listened carefully to what he says, and seeing the great pains he went to to be transparent, I'd disagree 100% with that. What you got was a dose of reality. Not always what one wants. That's my take.

    I've been through my host of bass related books, sorted out the one's I want to keep and then I've immersed myself in many hundreds of music CDs in the loft looking for the Cds that go with the books. I'm still a couple short where I've indicated but I'll have another go tomorrow. A couple of books have some minor annotation in them but it doesn't affect their purpose. If you want a book please state by number quickly as the popular one's won't hang around I guess. If you buy more than 10 I'll post free but please be aware that books are heavy and 56 parcels at the PO would not only be a nightmare but it would prove costly.     Having decided that my goal of being in a regular gigging band is no longer going to happen, after over 20 years of trying, I've reconciled myself to just enjoying my bass playing at home. I could write a book on the misadventures of my 'career' as a musician I've sold my gigging cab and amp. I've a couple of pedals on sale here too (cheap plug). I've gathered a huge collection of assorted books over the years as well as leads, straps and other odds and ends. I'm amazed at just how many books I've gathered. I've now got to sort though boxes upon boxes of CDs for them and I'll sort them and put them up for sale with heavy discounts on bulk buying. I've still got 7 basses, I used to have 27!
