  1. Had one of these for years, heavily gigged and still going strong!
  2. I saw the 3 leaf filters and was tempted! after putting a request out to see what filters were for sale, I got a messages and I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on an Aguilar! And a mini q Tron with internal volume mod has popped up, so probably gonna have that as well And my time factor is going to be repaired! lockdown filter fun for me 😎 Tony
  3. Thanks for that, dumpstaphunk had disappeared off my radar for a while sat in the sun listening to them With a cold beer 😎 Tony
  4. I'm uisng s Genzler Magellan 800, had it for a while now Prior to that had a streamliner, which I really liked, had opurtunity to pick up the Genzler, figured it would be all the streamliner was and more Wasn't wrong, it doesn't have the valve pre amp, but it's such a versatile am with a wide range of tones I'm using it with Vanderkly 2x10's, I was giging this a lot, using just one cab when needed. With two cabs I had a nice compact set up that was is capable of some serious volume Realy like what I hear about the Darkglass amps, wouldn't mind trying one at some point, the Microtube Mk1, the later version looks more complex, simple is good for me Back to roiginal point, Genzler is good for me and I've had some nice amps over the years! Tony
  5. Has the pleasure off seeing George Duke in the 80’s, he was playing keys for story clarke! Phil Bailey guest vocals, just after he had done easy lover with Phil Collins was a good gig! Tony
  6. Just ordered a valeton
  7. That’s one of the nicest warwicks I have seen for a long time!
  8. I was hoping for that sort of reply, will drop you a PM when I get time as I’m still working cheers Tony
  9. Thanks for thinking about me! I’m in an odd position now, been after one for a while and nothing came up, so commuted at weekend to spend a whole load of $$ on my old ‘71 campervan so that I can hopefully get out for a break when this craziness starts to come to an end, later this year might have to tap my better half up Tony
  10. I could probably do it, but ideally would want somebody who knows what they are doing bored in lockdown and want to take a look at my pedal, let me know 😎 Tony
  11. Hi Great little filter pedal this, but it isn’t working! it lights up when foot switch is pressed, tone changes, but it’s like it’s stuck somewhere in the envelope! i checked the pots with a meter and all good, that’s the extent of my electrical testing ability! fairly simple circuit, not sure how these things work but I believe the optocoupler is a key part? Tony
  12. just deleted this post so I can start a separate thread as i have Seriousley highjacked this one! Tony
  13. Also, I’ve got a tone factor boomstick bottom feeder, great little filter, but it’s stopped working need some body to look at it it’s lost it’s quack, when I switch it in it just changed the tone slightly, like it’s stuck somewhere in the envelope, best way I can describe it was a £50 pedal 10 years ago, probably cost more to get it fixed, but worth it! Tony
  14. Thanks for the replies ive had many over the years, original Mu-Tron, meatball (too complicated) EBS, proton etc tried a wonder love mk2 last year and it didn’t cut it, read several times that the mk1 was better the chromatic has my attention as well but looks like the mxr is worth a try for the price cheers tony
  15. Been looking at these, wanting an analogue filter pedal, my tone factor broke lots of options out there!
  16. Pick up has seen some action! Needs a clean!
  17. Been playing mine a lot this morning, random photo!
  18. Jut checked the date of manufacture of mine from the serial number March 8th 1999 didnt realise it was that old Tony
  19. I weighed my sterling tonight if I’ve not played it for a while, when I pick it up it feels heavy, but on a strap it’s fine so I weighed it, 10lbs 🤪 that’s heavy for a smaller body bass! its sounds and plays great Tony
  20. My genzler is good for that, also goes the opposite way if needed my old streamliner had a nice vintage tone too it i hear people refer to Anguilla TH’s as old school sounding and the dark glass amps always sound like they do a good job in that area! Tony
