  3. Round Midnight - Thelonius Monk
  4. Just found these on BBC Introducing Glastonbury coverage... Not impressed with most other stuff but like these!
  5. Fire - Sly and Robbie
  6. Turn to Red - Killing Joke
  7. Get up offa that thing - James Brown
  8. We're in Hereford again on 26th July with US hardcore boys Potbelly, and Leeds punks TCCL. Somehow we're headlining!
  9. Knights Templar - Steve Hillage
  10. I'm familiar with Fanny... Proper 70s!
  11. Some rather exciting jazz (starring Tony from just up the road from me!)
  12. Cash (Money) - Prince Charles and the City Beat Band
  13. If it had to be a Fender - these are often played by the more interesting guitar players, such as Marc Ribot. Otherwise a python-skin Parker Fly...
  14. Resistance is Futile - Manic Borg Preachers
  15. Couldn't take the bass as access was difficult... In Cwm Cneifon, N. Wales.
  16. Are Friends Electric - Tubeway Army
  17. Hey Mr Big Pigeon with your enormous feet and puffed-out chest! You be flexin'! Had lots of fun with bass drums in this sort-of waltz... All guitars and bass are actually my Sandberg Basic through Bias FX/Bias Amp/BX Rockrack. All has been liberally rolled in Ozone 9 and Neutron 3 with a smattering of Raum/Dubstation 2.
  18. Redneck Joe - Barf Roco
  19. I played many of the iconic London dives venues - Marquee (twice, once supporting Carter, once headlining), all of the Mean Fiddler venues (Subterranea, Garage, Mean Fiddler at least twice each), Underworld, The Dome, Electric Ballroom, Dingwalls, Opera on the Green etc but not any of the bigger ones... Played Edward's No. 8 in Birmingham too, supporting Gaye Bykers. Biggest venue was probably The Great Hall in Exeter (with Carter) or Guildhall in Gloucester (Gaye Bykers), or more recently, Winter Gardens in Blackpool (Rebellion)
  20. Fight the Power -Public Enemy
  21. Friggin' in the Riggin' - Sex Pistols
  22. The Spontanes who supported us the other night basically did only 50s and 60s rock'n'soul classics in a punked up style. Worked very well!
  23. Everybody Needs Money - Willie Hutch
  24. Indeed! I play in a band mainly for my own pleasure... If some poor unfortunate enjoys it as well that's a bonus!
