1. i think youre overreacting a little bit. if the band is as special as you say it is, then wait the three months, practice, do some acoustic slots with someone, keep yourself busy and get back to it when they return from ther hols, our keys player was in california for almost 2 months when this ash cloud was about, didnt break us up, didnt even feel like hed been gone by the time we had practice again on the other hand, if it isnt worth it, just wish them luck and do something else
 2. dont know if your still deciding to buy, but i found a decent demo by stu hamm using the b2.1u9t or whatever its called, im assuming theres not a lot of difference between each variation of the b2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MSXfklXNn8...feature=related im starting to become tempted by the b2 myself, im in the market for a tuner, but this has a tuner + plenty more and goes secondhand for around £45
 3. IMO black crowes butchered this track
 4.
I use Guitar Pro. It's good, but I suppose the downside is you have to pay for it. I've been getting files from GProTab.net.
Get yourself on tuxguitar mate, its freeware and opens guitarpro files no problem
and to answer the OP, if you hadn't already guessed, i use 911tabs.com
cheers, ill give it a shot, been struggling to find decent stevie wonder tabs
 5.
Agreed... It even eliminates the need for a synth or keys player meaning we can stay a 2 piece...
is the banner in your sig a link to your 2-piece band? if so, you guys sound massive
 6. First off, if anybody doesnt use it, they should. Its basicly software that plays powertab aswell as guitarpro files. Its a fantastic way to read tab as you can slow sections down and really listen to the rhythm of something rather than guessing how something is played when reading standard tab. it can be downloaded here http://tuxguitar.herac.com.ar/ secondly, people who do use it, where do you find your tabs? I use guitar-universe myself and whilst it does have many many files on there, theres always certain tracks i cannot find
 7. givin it another couple of days before ebay, id prefer a quick sale thinking about it twice
 8. if your amp isnt anything special, try a behringer bdi21! ive been using it with an ashdown mag210 and it makes it sound a hell of a lot better. thats if your after a tubey sound rather than solidstate anyway
 9.
+1, Mani grooves hard and is severely underrated.
+2
 10. first off, cant believe some idiot on the other page was bad mouthing bootsy collins as a bass player.. anyways for me (and this is citing some of the people thats influenced me right from the days of first picking up a bass) Chris Wolstenholme Flea Bootsy Collins Les Claypool John Paul Jones Juan Alderate Tim Commerford Geezer Butler Bass player for Toots & the Maytals (only just realised i dont know the guys name) I dont think theyre the greatest, just had the greatest influence on the way that I play, but when it boils down to it, i listen to far much more music than this list suggests and i believe everything influences you, even the stuff you dont like influences you
 11. final bump before i stick it on ebay on sunday afternoon will accept £85 or trade for a tuner/octave/preamp
 12. you might want to ignore what i have to say seeing as though ive never owned or heard either of these pedals, but i have read a lot about them and the general jist seems that the zoom pedal is amazing for tailoring your own effects but i have read that using live is annoying as to bypass the pedal you have to press on both footswitches simultaneously the line6 apparantly is more of just an amp simulator, the effects are limited and not very good but then again i havent played either of these pedals

 14. Hi I have a Electro-Harmonix Black Russian Big Muff with original box in excellent condition. Feet have been removed by previous owner for easy of attaching it to a board and Im having trouble finding the battery cover too, if I can find it before or after a sale/trade is arranged then I will send it as it would be no use to me. It has a few upgrades done by Martin Owen of Owen Electronics (http://www.owenelectronics.co.uk) which were installed around April time this year.

Fitted Boss type external dc socket, protection diode, filter capacitor and replaced battery snap connector
Replaced poor wiring
Potentiometers have been replaced with higher quality ones
Input/Output has been replaced with hard as nails metal ones
I can take more photos of the guts of this pedal if wanted. Wanting to trade for a pedal tuner and any preamp/grit pedal or £90 incl P&P cheers
 15. try teh boss ls-2 dude...i'll sell you mine for £80!!!11
 16.
did not rate this pedal at all!sold mine as i play hard,it was always clipping ans sounding poo!
yeah i really liked the digitech but it didnt get on with my active bass and playing style at all
 17. he fixed up my (near broken) russian big muff and whacked a 9v power input on the back of it not long ago, top bloke
 18.
These pedal boards all deserve to be heard! It'd be great to add links to demos recorded by each owner, showing some of their favourite effects and combinations....
I hear yer, i always take advantage of the fact that some people whack links to their bands myspaces in their sigs but it never quite shows off what all these pedalboards are capable of
 19. im not even joking the 4x10cm aluminium speakers or whatever they are sizewise deliver more bass than you imagine they ever could. its got more bass coming out of it than any 1x10" practice amp ive ever heard, its stereo you see (i think thats what makes the difference) and that its digital. its always made me want to play through one of those phil jones's briefcases
