1. I put a Darkglass tone capsule in my ABZ - transformed it from a very playable bass that I couldn’t get a sound I liked from to a tone machine. It’s become my go to bass and one of 2 I will never sell
2. Nice - I nearly bought this body when it was up for sale
3. If anyone has seen these on the recent tour can you let me know the approx stage times for both acts ? Going to the Wakefield gig tomorrow night and trying to plan it out
4. Is postage on offer ?
5. Looks really nice and very tempting but collection only means I'm out🙁
6. I know it's a big ask but does anyone in the Leeds area have an active floor monitor I could borrow for a gig tomorrow night ? Ours is in for repair and should have been back with us by now but isn't ! Please pm me if you can help out thanks
7. Where are you based ? cant tell on this new forum platform
8.
Ah I'd be all over this if it was passive.
Easy conversion and a very sellable east preamp would be spare 😄
9. Had a couple of questions about the weight of this bass My luggage scales suggest 4.4 kg but I'm not guaranteeing exact accuracy
10. Bought this in April from a fellow BCer, it's a highway one body in powder blue nitro finish with a status graphite jazz neck Condition is very good although there is a roadworn look on the top body edge where the finish has worn away. Fitted with a John East j-retro so a bit of a tone monster as you would expect and with bags of sustain. There's also a clear Perspex scratch plate for it Comes with a good quality hard case Only selling as I need to fund another bass so sorry but no trades on this one Would prefer to sell locally or meet up somewhere convenient (I travel regularly over to Manchester) as courier arranging is trickier in my new job Now reduced to £650
11. Pretty much a case per bass for me. And for gigs I take 2 in a double gig bag
12. My band have been approached for this but 2 of us are away on hols So thought it best to put it up on here - The Forresters at Crosland Moor, HD7 5BL need a band for a 6.30 gig. PA & lights are in house so a travel light gig ! We're a rock, pop, indie covers band so I guess they want something similar Give Daz Lucks a call or text on 07720 295931if interested- I've no idea on fee
13. Twickets is worth a look
14. Sometimes I think LL's are just much busier than I appreciate. We try to get another date in straight after a gig if it's gone well. Sometimes get the ' I don't have a diary for next year yet' so thinking about carrying some 'next year' A4 diaries to hand out ! +1 to the comment about LL personal taste being too much of their booking decision. Sadly round my way, 2 venues have shut and I suspect thus has been a factor
15. Here is my Ashdown Customshop CTM in custom Wine Red Sparkle finish.15W all valve head with old school passive EQ chain Sounds amazing mic'd and great when you drive the back end. Comes with fitted Ashdown gigbag in as new condition. This head in escence is the same as the stock version but was made in this colour and is one of only 2 ever made. It was hand assembled, biased and set up by Ashdown custom shop so it runs really efficiently and has a touch more character and punch than the off the shelf one Not looking for any trades thanks
16. Someone on one of the Facebook bass gear groups was after one of these
17. Bargain - if I didn't have one altresdy I'd be all over it -GLWTS
18. A really straightforward deal for my Bongo. Great guy to deal with
19. My band have just started to cover Human - simple song but fun to play
20. Grey Sunday morning bump
