  1. This was advertised here recently but got it via Reverb (allows for PayPal payment). The distortion isn’t for me but like the headphone amp, cab sims and Bluetooth so going to pick up the Element and save some space. Excellent condition. Comes with original box and third party carry case. No power supply. £360 posted UK or collect from Orpington BR6 for £350. Great demo here: Specs: Compression The Compression potentiometer is the one-knob solution for compression on the Alpha·Omega Photon. This controls the amount of input gain to the compressor and intelligently applies the correct amount of makeup gain so that your signal is always driven at the appropriate level, no matter how much compression is applied. Drive The Drive potentiometer adds distortion and drive to your signal. Crank this knob to apply the Alpha·Omega distortion to the distorted part of the signal chain. Mod The MOD potentiometer selects or mixes between the Alpha and Omega circuits. Alpha is punchy, tight with a lot of definition, whereas Omega is simply brutal and raw. Blend The Blend potentiometer mixes between the distortion signal and the clean sidechain signal. Level The Level potentiometer controls the master volume of the Alpha·Omega Photon. Touch Sensitive Sliders Each slider has a -12 dB to 12 dB range. From left to right, the frequency bands for each slider correspond to a low shelf, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1.5 kHz, 3 kHz, and a high shelf. Input This is the primary instrument input on the Alpha·Omega Photon. Connect your instrument or output from your pedal board to the 1/4” mono jack. Aux In The stereo input of the Alpha·Omega Photon enables the playback of backing tracks while practicing or recording. Connect your mobile phone, laptop etc. to the 1/8” stereo jack. Headphone Output Headphone Outputmeter next to the jack. Balanced Outputs The two balanced outputs add routing versatility and the option of using the Alpha·Omega Photon as a fully equipped audio interface. Connect your studio monitors, amplifier or other effects to the 1/4” balanced jacks using a TRS connector (Tip +, Ring -, Sleeve GND). If you feed an unbalanced input from these outputs, use an instrument cable with a mono 1/4” plug. Direct Output An XLR output with a ground lift switch provides a reliable standard connection to a mixing desk or an external audio interface for a guaranteed low-noise signal. MIDI In A standard 1/8” TRS (Type B) jack allows connecting an external MIDI controller to the Alpha·Omega Photon for even more flexibility. USB The USB-C port unlocks the Alpha·Omega Photon’s USB audio interface capabilities and enables interaction with the Darkglass Suite desktop app, allowing for software updates and access to the Darkglass IR library, containing hundreds of cabinet simulations. USB MIDI is also supported. DIMENSIONS 180x120x60 mm | Weight 0.7 kg
  2. Sterling by Music Man Cutlass CT50 HSS, Rose Gold. Bought this new in March this year from PMT. I think I've played it for about two hours in total. As such generally excellent condition. Bad bits: There's a small nick out of the neck pickup plastic. Small neck pocket finish cracks both sides although quite hard to see due to finish. There's a minor paint finish flaw on the front: a crease under the bridge and a small ripple in the paint finish but under the clear coat. Can't be felt and can only be seen when light hits it at a certain angle (can't seem to photograph either!). Collection preferred from Orpington BR6 but can look at postage if needed. 3. Nope, bought it used. I gave it a quick wipe over with a micro fibre cloth!
  4. MXR M82 envelope filter. Good condition with some minor marks/chips. Comes with original box, quick start guide and unused rubber feet. Selling as I’ve picked up one of the older, more sparkly ones! 🤭 £80 collected from Orpington BR6 or postage for an additional £5.

  6. Bought a pedal from Ben. Super prompt postage, well packaged, mint condition as described. Top banana!
  7. EHX Nano Q-Tron. I bought this new in January but have barely used it. Home use only. Excellent condition with original box and warranty card. Velcro on bottom. There’s a small fingerprint under the sticker lacquer but you can only see it when the light is shining on it. Includes postage to UK mainland.
  8. Genuine US Stingray pickup 4 string. Got this from @Ander87 so I’ll have to defer to him if any more details are needed. Had intended to use for a project bass but that’s unlikely to happen. Collection or £5 postage.
  9. Bought a thumb rest from Nick in a simple and straightforward transaction. Timely comms and arrived the next day as described, top banana!
  10. Markbass Octaver Raw. I don’t have original box but have another pedal box to ship in for an additional £5. Collection welcome. http://www.markbass.it/product-detail/mb-octaver-raw-series/
  11. The old cliché of "I don't really want to sell this, but" ... I have had no self restraint lately and am up to a number of basses far exceeding what is sensible for a play at home hobbyist. Probably off for a commission sale next week but thought I'd offer here first if any interest. Very good condition, purchased new by @Al Krow and original advert here: No gig bag so collection preferred from Orpington BR6 but happy to meet a reasonable distance. Can also post at buyers cost and risk. I’ve cleaned fretboard and put new D’Addario EXL170 strings on. Some minor indents and small scratch near bridge, small mark to headstock and some minor swirl marks from use but generally great condition (you’d have to be looking for them).

  13. Can’t remember I’m afraid, and no longer have the amp. Although I wouldn’t normally have a cable plugged in the amp with no bass attached.
  14. From some googling it seems to be a common complaint for the Markbass tweeters and that model in particular, if you bypass the tweeter it goes away. I sent it back in any case and don't get that with any other amp/cab I've had in the same room.
  15. Good point, was in a different house. I've tried it all over my house in different rooms and on different parts of my house wiring with the same results, it's possible there is an issue with my house ground but then I wonder why it's only these two basses that I have this issue with. An issue with the ground may explain the god awful whine I had on a CMD121P even with no bass plugged in. I'll take my amp to my friends place to try in the first instance.
  16. I have recently acquired two Fender basses: a Flea active and a Player Plus active Jazz. I'm playing them through either a Genzler Magellan 350 or Markbass 802 combo (both of which have tweeters). I'm getting a high pitched whine when plugged into my amps that goes away when you touch the strings/bridge etc. I don't get this with any of my other basses, active or not. I thought at first it may be my amp but I'm getting it with both amps. I'm therefore assuming this is poor shielding on the bass, the common denominator being Fender. I have tried them on a friends rig (TE Elf and 2x8 cab with no tweeter) and there is no whine at all which has me a little stumped. Could this be the tweeters on the cabs I have at home amplifying the whine? Also getting some crackling when turning knobs, again nothing at all on my friends rig. Any other thoughts before I look at re-shielding?
  17. Jamie sold me a combo in another hassle free transaction. Mint condition and everything as it should be. Top banana!
  18. And only £2,267.43! Would like to try one but unlikely at that price.
