  1. This use to be my bass I had it down as 4kg on my kitchen scales not a super lightweight but definitely not heavy. No problem using my photos, I loved the neck on this bass but just not a fender fan GLWS
  2. Two monzas stacked would make a great gigging setup for most occasions but there are always times for more 😁
  3. So it seems that I'm the first customer of the new Goodwood cab and I'm very happy with it so far. I've got it to pair with my GSS baby sumo and line 6 helix lt as I've been after a very transparent clear sound that I can colour as much as I like depending on my mood or who I'm playing with. For my needs the Goodwood seems a very good fit, it would appear loud enough for a jam with a loud drummer (I don't play live on the regular and when I do it's seems to always be through FOH or pa these days), you very much get out what you put in so my jazz had a lovely slap sound (not that I play that style much but it's there) and good funk vibes. My pj with tapewounds could be lovely and warm. As for the low b it handled that with ease so no issues there. With a the sounds I tried what stands out is the clarity of sound. I just sold my GK mb500 with matching cx 210 can that set up was loud and bassy but compared this I would describe it as muddy. Now I like muddy and loved it from a epiphone thunderbird pro I used have but the reason I've gone down the road is I want to chose the sound and have lots of variety without lots of gear although gas may have a part to play. An extra bonus is it sounded great playing some blues on my gretch 6 string semi acoustic so 1 rig to rule them all. Amazing what you get out of a small easy to transport small package. One thing to mention is I would say in the flesh the blue is much darker that it seems in photos which I like and to me makes it look more premium. The cover is top quality to 👍 Stevie has been a pleasure to deal with plus 20% off definitely sweetened the deal 😁
  4. Yes still here
  5. Shipping uk only
  6. Free shipping or discount for collection
  7. Bass trades are no longer as I've traded with one of my other basses I had for sale. 🙂
  8. As a previous owner had the nut changed to bone and some feet work done I can't really say about other Cort bass but this one really plays nice 😁
  9. I’m selling a few of my basses at the moment to fund some house renovations and consolidate to 1 lighter weight jazz I bought this from Bass Bros about 18 months ago and I'll probably regret selling it! This is what they had to say Here we have a very nice example of a 2016 Fender American Elite Jazz Bass in natural finish matched perfectly with the black blocks and binding. Cosmetically this bass is in excellent condition. The only thing to note is that someone has added a bridge ashtray cover at some point, those holes are still visible. Trussrod and electronics all work perfectly. Included is the original hardcase. Serial Number – US15073268 Year – 2016 Colour – Natural Body Finish – Gloss Body Wood – Ash Neck Finish – Satin Neck Wood – Maple Fretboard – Maple Frets – 21 Scale Length – 34″ Weight – 9lbs6oz/4.3kgs Electronics – Active Pickups – Fender J Gigbag/Hardcase – Hardcase ----------------------------------------- I've only used it at home and studio so it's in excellent condition except for some scratch plate wear that doesn't really show in the pics Collection is preferred so it can be tried out with a cupper but could meet up around an hour or so drive away and I can post at the buyers risk and cost. Trades: Bass wise I’m looking for a lighter jazz style bass 4kg and under 32-34 inch scale, fancy a Sandberg or Japanese Sadowsky, may consider an Ibanez with nordstrand big singles but open to suggestions. Cabs: May consider small single bareface 10” or 12” but I have been looking to get a LFSys Monza 10”

  10. I’m selling a few of my basses at the moment to fund some house renovations and consolidate to 1 lighter weight jazz I've had this bass 2 years although I bought it on ebay it was from a bass chatter @tauzero https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/462309-cort-gb4-sold-on-ebay/?do=findComment&comment=4701404 It's a lovely bass to play with a beautiful neck but I'm just not a great fan of active only electronics. It's still in excellent condition as I've only used it at home. Collection is preferred so it can be tried out with a cupper but could meet up around an hour or so drive away and I can post at the buyers risk and cost as it comes with the hard case. 11. I’m selling a few of my basses at the moment to fund some house renovations and consolidate to 1 lighter weight jazz I’ve had this bass around 4 years but haven’t played it for the last 2 as it had a problem with the nut which I’ve now replaced. It’s a good solid bass but at some stage it has been heavily gigged hence the price, the electrics all work great but there are no accessories although I can probably throw in a gig bag if required. Collection is preferred so it can be tried out with a cupper but could meet up around an hour or so drive away and I can post at the buyers risk and cost. 12. Diolch yn fawr i chi a cupper sounds good but I have to clarify it's one in one out after the non-negotiable standard herd which is around the 5-6 margin at the moment. I'll pm you to arrange something next week
  13. I love a thunderbird sold my last one a couple of years ago someone please buy this as it's just down the road and the missus has reminded me the one in one out is three basses over stocked... bump
  14. Thanks for the info, I've got at least one bass with similar weight and nut, if I lived closer I'd have to come and try it GLWTS 👍
  15. Oh I was hoping for 38 - 39mm at the nut and more around 4.2kg, these basses seem to vary considerably which I suppose is to be expected from hand built instruments
  16. Is this still for sale, I'm after a fast playing 24 fret for a couple of projects and this looks better than the usual suspects but I'm a newbie to bass chat and never bought from here before!
