  1. Black Sabbath could become the richest people in the world if they sued everyone who ripped off their music. It would be every doom metal band that's ever existed plus quite a few others.
  2. Introduce yourself - Faith No More
  3. It was a very popular song. It could easily be 3 or 4 pence
  4. House of 1000 corpses - Rob Zombie
  5. War Pigs - Black Sabbath
  6. I don't think there's much gear on the market that won't sound good with a bit of set up and some decent playing.
  7. Toxic Garbage Island - The mighty Gojira
  8. If someone could sue people for management cow poop phrases as well that would be awesome. Just thought I'd run that idea up the flag pole and see who salutes it. Just some blue sky thinking but we need to action these solutions to provide the deliverables to all steakholders.
  9. Are they going to sue everyone else who has used that phrase in a song, in print, on TV or in film?
  10. It depends on the sound you're going for. If you want to sound like Tim Commerford of Rage Against The Machine then you'll struggle to get close unless you've got a Stingray and an Ampeg SVT. Some amp and bass combinations are quite distinctive and difficult to copy with different gear. If you're not going for a specific sound, you can sound good with fairly basic gear and good technique.
  11. My friend in misery - Metallica
  12. I trust Booze And Glory. A great live band and I should imagine they're tough on gear
  13. Sounds good. Does it take up much space on the pedal board?
  14. Superb song and really not difficult but I think quite rewarding to get the timing really tight.
  15. I'm thinking about replacing my leads with a remote setup so I don't trip over leads cos I'm a clumsy bugger. Do remote systems have any effect on sound compared to a decent 6 metre lead? Is there a system which is recommended?
  16. I'm surprised no one (including me) has mentioned The Cure. Superb bass lines, fantastic songs and Simon Gallup always uses a pick. A Forest and Burn are a great place to start. I can't pick up my Thunderbird and not play A Forest
  17. Once you've done that, try it with only slaps and pops.
  18. Sweet Dreams - Marilyn Manson
  19. Some of my favourites are Time Bomb by Rancid Stinkfist by Tool Peaches by Stranglers Let it Ride by Dinosaur Jr (this one is really fun)
  20. They didn't cover songs which were written for two guitarists though Sabbath tuned low, had really dirty guitar and bass tunes and summoned the devil to create a wall of sound.
  21. Aces high - Iron Maiden
  22. Diamond eyes- Deftones
  23. Iron Man - Sabbath
  24. That's a tough one. I can play it at 90% speed but the last 10% kills me. I should imagine it's even harder without a pick
