  1. For sale is my Hofner violin bass with Hofner branded fitted hard case. The bass is fitted with La Bella flatwound strings and is in good condition. It has only been gigged a couple of times. The intonation has started to drift at the dustier end of the fretboard. In a perfect world I'd keep the bass as it has that instantly recognisable thumpy tone, but I need to balance the books and I don't play it as much as my other basses. Collection preferred as I don't have a box for the bass. Payment by PayPal or bank transfer. My feedback thread:
  2. Off-white pickguard from Squier CV 60s Mustang Bass - £10 Pickup from Squier CV 60s Mustang Bass - £20 Or £25 for the two together. Happy to post if preferred to collection.
  3. For sale is my as-new Tone Pocket, including original box and manual. It has only been opened to check that all the parts are there, never used. Received as a replacement for a faulty unit, but I now have a Darkglass Element and I don't need two headphone amps! £80 posted to UK mainland. If you're able to collect I'm happy to knock off £5 and sell it to you for £75. Please ask if you've any questions!
  4. Basschat marketplace feedback here.
  5. Ah, really miss my one of these. The neck was lovely. Good luck with the sale!
  6. Bought a pedal from Dan. It's great and so was the communication throughout. Happy to recommend him.
  7. Has anyone tried one of these yet? Looking into it for my micro-rig...
  8. Bought a pedal from @SumOne recently - it arrived quickly, well packed, in excellent condition. Communication was superb throughout. Would buy from him again!
  9. I think so. There's absolutely tons of stuff on there, including courses on theory. You can still get a 14 day free trial I believe, so you can have a look around and see if it's what you're after.
  10. I've spent more time than ever on practice - probably 5 times per week over the past year. I've been getting the most out of my Scott's Bass Lessons subscription, I'll say that. I've gone from being quite lax to quite disciplined, and my technique and understanding of theory have improved. Over the first lockdown, I learnt how to play fingerstyle from scratch, having been a pick-only player since my teens, which was a long time ago... Now I rarely pick up a pick - wouldn't have believed that a year ago. Having no gigs to work towards has allowed me to be a bit more free in terms of the songs I've been learning to play. I can't really put my finger on why I've got so deep into the bass over the lockdowns, as my attention span for other hobbies has been smashed to bits! I hardly did any reading last year, for example.
  11. Love the aesthetics of these, especially the roasted maple necks. The 4 string models are £399 on Anderton's 🤤
  12. For sale is my road worn BOSS TU-3 Chromatic Tuner. Indestructible and does what it says on the tin. Surplus to requirements now that I have perfect pitch (joke, I just use a clip on tuner instead), so moving this on to top up the GAS fund! Original box included. Yours for £35 and free postage to UK
  13. Purchased on BC back in January. Not been gigged in that time (unsurprisingly!), but I'm working with a different sound now and have an eye on some other gear, so needs must. The pedal is designed by BJF, and the sound is similar to the Bearfoot Blueberry. Tubey, creamy goodness. Compatible with 9V-18V power supplies (not included). Velcro on back from being attached to pedal board. Comes with original box. Postage included.
  14. What a beauty! Is the Nordstrand pickup their standard single coil one or the hum cancelling one?
  15. Hi Lee, Is this pedal still for sale? Cheers, Paul
