  1. Lee bought some TI flats from me. A pleasure to deal with as per. Cheers!
  2. NB: just noticed that the board in this pic is my Nano. Rest assured that the one for sale is a Nano+!
  3. One Control Crimson Red 1st gen - SOLD. Voodoo Labs Pedal Power X4 Powers 4 9V input pedals. £60 Pedaltrain Nano+ with case. SOLD All in good condition with Velcro attached and can be posted.
  4. Lightly used set of short scale TI flatwound strings. Had them on my Mustang briefly but I couldn't resist the siren call of my La Bella 760FL-MUS with their frayed silks and all, which are now back on the bass. Yours posted for £25.
  5. A very tasteful two tone burst and dark tort combination 👌 GLWTS
  6. Bought an EBS Multicomp from Lee. The pedal is great and arrived quickly, well packed. Lee was a pleasure to deal with - cheers 👍🏻
  7. Excellent. Fingers crossed your move works out. Bass players of Sefton, unite! You have nothing to lose but your disputed county borders!
  8. Haha, yes - I did think as I typed that, is Crosby technically Merseyside and not Liverpool? I will be working in Liverpool proper though! Thanks for the great recommendations - the move can't come soon enough.
  9. Hopefully Crosby - we have some friends and family there and they love it.
  10. This is just what I was looking for - thanks so much! 👍👍
  11. Thanks guys, this is great. @TruenoWe will be moving there with our 5 month old son, so if we stick around as I hope we will, maybe he will grow up with the accent! 😃
  12. Selling my Keeley Bassist Limiting Amplifier compressor. In good condition with a few small paint chips as you can see. Velcro attached to bottom. I bought this as I wanted a compressor with some metering that was easy to dial in, and it is exactly that. I've just realised I prefer the natural compression of tubes/tube sims, and have my eye on something else of that kind, hence the sale. Can be collected from me in PR4 near Preston, Lancs. (I moved house since originally putting this for sale), or can post for an extra fiver. Thanks for looking. Happy to answer any questions. 👍🏻
  13. A bewitching combination - GLWTS!
  14. I'm relocating to Liverpool soon and I'm looking forward to getting to know the area so I thought I'd ask - what recommendations do folk on here have, in terms of places to see live music, bass shops, luthiers, and indeed anything else bass playing related? I know there was a famous bass player from around there (called McCarthy or something like that) and I will be checking out the touristy sights but I bet there are some hidden gems too...
  15. Hotline professional audio line cable series with OFC
  16. Frontline noiseless instrument cable, 3 metres long.
  17. Fender professional series microphone cable, 3 metres long. Rarely used.
  18. Hey, sorry for the late reply - I had covid and things have been a bit sketchy. Although my problems stopped short of the amp actually cutting out, I did find a solution, albeit an expensive one. I bought a new second hand amp, the same MB combo (am I crazy?). I had it shipped to my bandmate's house in Birmingham (we do most of our gigs in the Midlands), used it at a gig last month and it was great. Amp no.1 is playing nicely at the moment for practice - if it starts getting crotchety again I turn all the knobs back and forth several times, and that gets rid of any unwanted crackling. I also have it sitting on a chair for added clarity when practicing. I don't know if that's that helpful to you really... Maybe I should have been twice shy after being bitten, but I love the MB sound - to me it is a wonderful blank canvas. Did you get yours back from Essex Amps, and if so what was their verdict?
  19. Selling this excellent headphone amp from sfx. The sound is so articulate and clear. These don't come up for sale second hand very often, and I may regret moving this one on. I have recently bought a Torpedo Cab M on here, hence this sale, but I can imagine missing the beautiful simplicity of the Micro H. I noticed that one of the knobs is slightly wobbly (see video) but it works fine. 20220618_121627.mp4
  20. Gruvgear Gigblade EDGE E-Guitar gig bag in decent condition. As shown in pictures, I've been using it for my Squier CV 60s Mustang Bass. There are some velcroed bits of padding inside that can be moved around to accommodate guitars/basses of different sizes or shapes. It's very lightweight and handy to carry over the shoulder - no more snagging your instrument on the top of doorways, low ceilings etc. As pictured there are some slight abrasions to the base and a few small marks on the orange padding inside. Would prefer collection/meet up, but postage considered at extra cost.
