1. i cant let this thing go anymore...its far to nice and sounds to good to let go for under 700. if no one wants it ill keep it
2. i just strung it up with lighter gauge strings and dopped the action and my god.......what a slap tone. dig in with the fingers and its very music man like.
3. bump. cmon people this bass is still here in stunning condition. dont worry about the bass not having a preamp, it really does sound fantastic, if i didnt need the money i would even think about selling it. also the pictures dont do that top justice, they were taken on a crappy phone camera. 670 to whoever wants it
4. thanks for the offer mate. i figure if people dont like the idea of no preamp then they can choose what one they would like to have. the bass sounds fantastic as it is and any tonal adjustments i need to make i do so on my sans amp, after all thats what its for. oh yeah cheers for the bump!
5. there is no preamp just a battery and the pot and the killswitch. it sounds very good
6. this bass is still active. it has a blend pot for the pickups and a killswitch that cuts all the sound. just my personall preference

17. yeah i was looking at vids of mtd basses on youtube and i saw some guy in america do it. i couldnt beleive how well it works.. id advise making the proper tube thing http://www.tunemybass.com/strings/bass_str...aning_tube.html on here. i didnt and i spilt meths all over my garden picnic bench and f***ed it right up! yeah i recomend everyone to try it...because strings are so damn expensive!
18. i read somewhere that if you soak your strings in methylated spirits they come out like new. i tried it today with purple meths.... i soaked my strings in a jam jar in meths for 20 mins, took them out and wiped them off. dryed them with a hairdryer and hey presto they sound good as new. a good money saving tip
