I bought this bass a few weeks ago from a gentleman on here. I am not sure of its age, I guess around 8 years, but for a used bass it’s in good condition. One or two very minor marks on the body and some light scratches on the surface but nothing that’s easy to see or photograph, basically just light wear and tear. The neck looks as new and plays nicely. I believe these instruments were very highly regarded being the Indonesian version of the top of the range(at the time) 2024. I am fairly sure the pickups are exactly the same ones as fitted to the much more expensive 2024 and I also believe that the 1024 adopts some of the same construction techniques as its big brother. As passive basses go this is a pretty fantastic instrument and it sounds good right the way through from front to back pick ups. It is definitely a warmer more vintage sounding instrument which should be good in live and recording environments. My own personal preference is for active basses which is the only reason I want to move this on. Whilst I would prefer a sale I would be happy to trade this for something of equivalent value like a nice Ibanez SR 4 string. However condition must be good and the spec/quality comparable please. The action here is medium ish and is set to my preference, it could definitely be lowered as required. The bass didn’t come with a gig bag but I will include a basic one as part of the sale. Socially distanced collection is possible, otherwise the bass can be sent by suitable courier, the cost of which can be negotiated. Cheers.

It’s not chunky at all. It’s not Fender jazz bass slim but neither is it like some of the p basses. Apparently it has exactly the same neck profile as the Bass Collection Jive Bass. Very nice and easy to play in all honesty. cheers,

I bought a Bass Collection Power Bass around 6 weeks ago and have barely used it since I purchased a Yamaha BB 1024 on here. I must say that as P basses go it really is an excellent instrument. This particular one is a very dark green with a mint pick guard and matching headstock. It looks as though it has come straight from the shop. Most of you will be aware of these basses as they are used by quite a few top pro players despite their modest price point. This one is certainly on a par with anything I have played from Mexico and very similar in quality to a Japanese reissue P Bass I once owned. It comes with a super high quality padded gig bag. If you want funky p bass tone for very little money give me a shout please as this bass will do a great job for someone as a main gigging bass or a very good back up.

I bought this lovely instrument around 4 months ago and as you would expect it’s in excellent condition. There are a few swirl marks on the pick guard but other than that it’s spot on. The build quality being Canadian built is excellent. The bass plays really well with a nice medium low action and there are plenty of sounds on tap through the Godin Shifter system. The bass comes with a quality Godin gig bag. Looking online today this model in VB finish sells for between £900 and £1000 (£975 on Thomann, £999 on G4M). I believe John Mcvie from Fleetwood Mac toured with one of these basses for a few years which further demonstrates their pro qualities. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. I am open to sensible offers and will offer subsidised shipping if a fair deal can be agreed.

I would like to sell my NSD bass. It is a fabulous instrument and has a huge array of sounds on tap via the magnetic and piezo bridge pickup. The bass was purchased in mid July and has been used at home only. Condition is mint as you would expect in the circumstances.
