1. Look at the questions on this now! Someone messaged him to say it's not American, and he had a little paddy.
2. I just sold mine on ebay, it went for £599, but it is a very rare first month of production bass, could well have got more for it, but put the BIN at that.
3.
Apologies to all. I forgot you ordered an AGC. Can we still be friend's?
No, you hurt my feelings, I am going to cry now.
4. I will work on a list and try to get in touch with some people, you should be able to see up in the photo of where the nut should go etc that the frets aren't straight across the neck.
5. Here are the pictures, I guess they should explain everything that needs doing, but I am not an expert, it needs sanding and finishing (in the cheapest way), then I guess a new fretboard, or even the neck cut off and a new one put on? etc etc.... Like I said before, I have a few parts that could be used if needed, like bridge, pickup, preamp, warwick brass nut for this neck etc.
6. I don't know who saw them, but a while ago people in brazil were selling bass bodies on ebay, basically you'd get them and finish them off, I was going to do this, so I ordered one, but it arrived and the frets were wonky (oh yes, would you believe that!), so I just kinda gave up on it, and it's been here at work in a corner ever since, BUT it is kinda cool, I just have no idea about doing it, and lack the motivation, is there anyone here that would be up for finishing it for me? As cheap as possible really, I have quite a few bits that I might use for it, but it has space for 2 MM pups, and would like to use just one and get a scratchplate made (in wood) etc too, so, really, any help/suggestions etc, will get some pics when I am at home soon!
7.
Sorry mate, I was saying this for the benifit of thedontcarebear. I love your Sei.
For my benefit? Just saw what you said, and I already ordered an ACG months ago, I just like the look of Sei's a lot, and RIM basses too, and about 50% of all basses that exist.
8. I saw a JV strat recently go on ebay for £1100, was the rare first headstock etc, so made in April 82.
9. Don't change it if you want to keep the exact same sound.
10. He is expensive in general, if that is worth that much, then mine from the first month of production must be worth a grand, which it isn't I'm sure.
11.
I've just checked my Ebay account and bass number 46 shall be on its way here soon! Oh dear!
You really need to seek help for that Nick!
12. I never bother with a backup bass anymore, I have never ever needed one.
13. That thing does look amazing, maybe one day I will be able to get a Sei.
14. After a Little Mark II, if anyone wants to do some trading.
15. Will consider a part exchange with a Little Mark II.
16. He says it was built in California, when surely that is the model, and it was made in Germany like the rest of the Sandbergs?
17. I always wanted to try one of those e-basses, maybe I will get to now!
18. Reduced to £289 + shipping/collection.......
19. You make a fine choice when selecting duvet covers then! And I don't know what they were made of, there is a pretty good shot of the back up there, can anyone tell from that?
20. Just remembered I still have this sitting in a case (not included) along with all the others I don't use. Will sell for £299 plus shipping, collection from Peterborough is fine though.
21. I am not using this anymore since the arrival of my little mark (due to immense laziness), it's in good shape, only marks I can see are the ones at the front bottom from the gator case (damn those cases!), comes with footswitch (which barely looks like it's been used), it is boxed and therefore can be shipped pretty easily, although collection from Peterborough is welcomed too, case not included, neither is the tuner! £499....
22. Got this a few months back, and have not really used it atall, now I have a PRS Custom Anniversary it's very doubtful it will ever get touched again, it's in fantastic shape, plastic still on the back, no marks anywhere that I can see.... £210 plus shipping, collection from Peterborough is welcome though.
