    I'm selling this MXR Bass Compressor pedal, which I purchased used off of eBay a few years back. I no longer use compression when playing live (I now always play through a distortion pedal, and if I need compression for the studio it's either a plug-in or via my sound engineer's outboard), so this has just been sitting around unused! Price of £110 includes shipping. There is a patch of velcro on the bottom. I do not have the original box.

I originally purchased this unit to use as part of an in-ear monitoring solution, but this is now surplus to requirements. Works really great... no issues at all!

    Another great pedal that I just don't use these days. Was purchased new from Anderton's during the pandemic so that I could play with myself while at home. Now that we're rehearsing regularly again, I'm either playing against recorded rehearsal tracks or playing live with my mates. Personally, I would have a difficult time using this pedal in any live performance situation. Price of £95 includes shipping to the UK. Original box included.

    These have all been quad-matched (which is what I need for my amps), so I really wouldn't want to separate them into pairs. Sorry!     I have a futon in the home studio that I will sit down on when trying to compose basslines... but for regular rehearsal of solid material while at home, I will always stand.

    Is that a maple fingerboard glued on a maple neck, or is it all cut from one piece?

    But now I'm also thinking about buying the all-white player series P bass with the maple neck. Then I get to experiment with both fingerboards... and I could also then swap the pick-guards between the two basses. Black with white / white with black. Oh dear... what is wrong with me. GAS strikes again...

    I recently modified my Fender Player P bass with a high-mass Kickass bridge and some Geezer Butler EMG pickups... It's sounding pretty massive. This one has an Ebony fingerboard.

    I can second a lot of what has already been mentioned about dates to avoid and wood types. I love my Bubinga Thumb NT with its Wenge neck and Ebony fretboard... but this one is a studio queen, since it sounds superb in recordings but I feel is too heavy and too nice to gig.

    RichTone Music in Sheffield sent me an email summary of their recently acquired used items up for sale, and I noticed this lovely Warwick NT5 from 2013: https://richtonemusic.co.uk/warwick-thumb-5-neck-thru-germany-natural-case-collection-only-2nd-hand/ I wanted to drop by the shop just to try it out, but then the very next day it sold! Man, that was fast! So... who bought it?! Anyone here on Basschat with a 'new' (for them) Warwick Thumb NT5? If it was you: How does it sound?
