    What's the issue that you're having with the head? My 'standby' switch got stuck, which David Gaffrey replaced at the same time he did the voltage conversion for me. David commented that the switch issue is very common... I know of at least one other Basschatter who had the exact same issue with his 888.

    Long overdue update on this thread. Indeed, David Gaffrey helped me out and did the conversion from US to UK voltages without any issues and for an incredibly reasonable price. Now I no longer need to do this with the step-down transformer...

    Bought an Aguilar Chorusaurus pedal off of Dave. Great communication, very patient and shipped the pedal super fast (even included the original box and instructions). Thanks Dave!

    These are excellent monitors and at this price it is an incredible bargain! Do you still have the original boxes? Too bad that I already picked up a set last year! GLWTS Just out of curiosity, what did you upgrade to? I figured that for my small studio with somewhat minimal acoustical treatment, these were perfect as I would not really be able to hear the difference of anything higher spec anyway. I certainly was not disappointed! Incredible monitor / sub set for the money.

    Nice... I also use Darkglass Alpha Omega, but found that it sounds best when just using the DI out of it to just record stuff. If I push the Darkglass signal through one of my bass heads, the preamp tube(s) and EQ mess with the sound in a not-so-good way. Also have a Mesa Powerhouse 6x10

    I'm not sure if Warwick ever got back to you on the details for this bass, but the S/N comes up on the Warwick site just fine and matches the item (attached). I'm also wondering if this bass is still available... perhaps not since thread went quiet back in early October.

    For me, the full chain is: Dunlop Tortex pick (0.73 or 0.88) DR Lo-Rider strings (medium) Warwick bass (Streamer LX4 or LX5) Van Damme cables with Neutrik jacks Korg tuner, MXR compressor, Darkglass Alpha-Omega pedals GK Fusion or Mesa Boogie head (preferably tube) SpeakOn cable(s) with Neutrik connectors (2 or 4 pole, depending on head/cab) GK or Mesa cab (preferably 4x10 + 1x15)

    Bought a really nice 6-string Warwick Bubinga bass from @seb. He was quick to respond to messages, extremely patient, and helped to sort out the shipping when ParcelFarce gave us a bit of a hard time (refusing to collect from his area of Scotland!). DPD agreed to ship the bass and it arrived today without delay in England. Very positive experience, so don't hesitate to buy or sell with Seb! Thanks again!

    The lockdowns gave me a chance to play "catch-up" with my band. I joined them in Autumn 2019, but had not yet mastered all of the songs in the current set. I rehearse at home pretty much every day, running through portions of the set. Nearly one year later and everything is sounding pretty good now!

    Thinking about selling my GK Legacy 800. I've had it for about a year, and even took into the recording studio in February, but have since realized that I really prefer the sound of a tube preamp! So, would plan to keep my MB Fusion 500 over the Legacy... Any takers? I still have the original box and the amp is perfect. Maybe I put a feeler out on the buy-and-sell pages.

    Still available? Any details regarding the woods (I'm guessing Ovangkol neck and Wenge fretboard?). Still has the original Warwick tuners, or did you upgrade them to something else?
