1. +1 on all past comments. Bought a Pedaltrain Mini off Steve and it arrived quickly, was safely packaged, and there was great communication throughout the transaction. Cheers Steve!
2. Boss RC20XL Looper This pedal is in A1 condition, and with the exception of the velcro on the bottom. It also lacks its box and instructions (but these can be found online). Now looking for £135 as this seems to be about the price these pedals fetch second hand. Will also accept part-ex trades for a Korg Pitchblack, or a small A/B pedal. 5. PM replied to, plus added a few more DVD - Ross Noble's 'Nobelism' and Micheal Moore's 'Fahrenheit 9/11'
6. PM's replied to, and first post amended slightly... Most DVDs still available.
7. Just getting rid of some DVDs that I haven't watched in a while. They're all in great condition, only being played a few times. Flea, Instructional DVD for Bass - Adventures in Spontaneous Jamming and Techniques Great instructional DVD that teaches you some early RHCP licks, as well as some of Flea's techniques. Plus you get to see some awesome jamming with him and Chad Smith from RHCP, as well as some insightful interview footage with River Phoenix. Primus - Animals Should Not Try to Act like People Awesome and hilarious DVD/CD combo, with all Primus' videos, as well as two hours of extras including live performances, documentaries and some interesting insights into Les Claypool's basses. Joe Satriani - Live in San Fransisco Two disks of Joe Satriani's virtuoso guitar work. A must have for Stu Hamm fans - he's really on top form on this DVD, and his bass solos are really impressive! G3 - Live in Denver Featuring sets from Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai, as well the three of them jamming to some awesome covers. Great DVD with plenty of extras too! Black Books, Series 1-3 (Not the box set, individual series on separate disks) Probably one of my favourite recent comedy series. Every episode is so funny. Featuring Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey and Tamsin Greig. Rush - Rush in Rio Awesome live DVD that showcases Geddy Lee's incredible playing! How does £4 each for single DVDs sound, and £5 for doubles, plus postage? I'll do discount for multi-buys etc. All prices are open to negotiation, just drop me a PM. Cheers. PJ

9.
Thanks for the heads up! The only thing I would say was that live Josh Homme's vocals were really weedy. I trust they are a bit more impactful on the album versions? Can I also say that I don't think that Grohl would have been right for the Led Zep reunion - his timing is far too "modern".
Homme knows how to deliver his voice to give it some authority on record. While he's not the strongest singer, he comes through well on the album. And I agree on the Grohl/Led Zep comment. Mostly because Jason Bonham is the man and most agree (there were always going to be critics...) that he absolutely killed it at the O2 arena. However on the TCV album, Grohl's drums have been produced to sound BIG, Bonham style. Listen to the contrast between his drum sound on Songs for the Deaf and TCV and you will immediately hear that they have tried to make that rhythm section sound as 'Led Zep' as possible.
10. I f**king love the album. Although, as thodrik rightly points out, it is very similar to QOTSA (this might have something to do with it being recording at Homme's studio, mixed partly by him, and includes his recognisable guitar and vocal style), some areas of the album are straight out of the mind of JPJ. For example the big riffs in 'No One Loves Me...' and 'Elephants' sound like their taken right off his solo album Zooma. Also songs like 'Reptiles' and to some extent 'Warsaw...' just scream Led Zep. After giving the album a few listens, you can really hear the tightness of the rhythm section. My only real gripe is that JPJ's bass is just a little too low in the mix. I would have thought they'd give him a little more sonic space - after all this is the man behind Kashmir and Black Dog! By the way, if you're into vinyl, this album really lends itself to being spun. My LP verses a 320 kbs rip is much warmer and generally more musically enjoyable!
11. I've always felt really low action sucks the bite out of slap. When I got back into slap, I raised the action on my Geddy a touch and it dramatically helped the tone. IMO if you're really digging in or slapping you don't super low action, gives the strings a little bit more room to move. Also a preamp/modelling unit might help. My Geddy is very very mid heavy, especially since I put Dimarzio Ultra J's in it. This is great for aggressive rock but sucks for slap, but since I bought my Tech21 VT Bass I can boost the lows and highs and it really kills for slap now! PJ
12.
Was looking at them over the weekend @ Music Live in the NEC! Very nice indeed, Quite expensive though at around £350 - £500
Ouch, bit steep! I like the idea a lot though. I've recently been looking for a decent stage rack and flight case, and this is both!
13. Just bought my new VT Bass of Mario - flawless transaction. Well packaged and good communication throughout!
14. Main post has been edited. Big Muff, Multi-effects and Chorus reduced.
15. Please leave any feedback on any purchases/sales I may have had with you PJ
16. Pictures added for everything but the Wah and Chorus, that are at my bands rehearsal space.
17. Sold items removed and new items added.
18. Hi, I'm looking for someone to teach me some fundamentals of upright playing, as I'm about to purchase a NS WAV4, and while I've played bass guitar for 6 years, have no previous experience with upright and don't want to get into bad habits! If there's anyone in this area please get in touch! Am willing to travel around most of the Gloucestershire area. Thanks PJ
