1. For sale is a Warwick Rockbass Streamer Bass This four string beauty in tinted blue served me very well as a starter bass. It's got a great full sound thanks to the beefy MEC pickups, despite being passive. It's got a great slap tone and is one of the most well-balanced basses I've ever played. As you can see it has one or two paint chips, as shown in the pictures. The worst of which is on the rear side of the lower horn (if memory serves a guitarist dropped it ) Priced to move at £130. Local pickup preferred (Cheltenham/Bristol area) but I can deliver within a reasonable distance. Thanks for looking! PJ
2. IBANEZ AEB30 Acoustic Bass For sale is this great acoustic bass that needs some love but is still a fantastic instrument with an absolutely brilliant Fishman pickup/EQ! It's got a fair share of dings, as have been captured to the best of my ability in the following photos (sorry for the poor quality iPhone photos). The main problem with it is one of threads went on one of the tuning pegs. Despite trying my hardest to fix the problem I couldn't save the machine head, so it's had one amputated! (It's the D string) Guitar Tech do replacements that will fit which can be seen here - http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/product/1304...m_campaign=base. If someone is interested in buying the bass I'll either buy the new machine heads and install them myself, or I'll knock £20 off the price if you want to do it yourself. Bass comes with a large soft fake-leather case that it came with. Local pickup preferred (based in Cheltenham/Bristol), or I'll deliver within a reasonable distance for some petrol money. Thanks for looking! PJ
3. TASCAM DP01-FX Hardrive Recorder Great little portable studio. I used this a great deal before I got into software recording, but I still use it occasionally for coming up with basic ideas. It has a inbuilt 20g hard drive which is plenty of space, plus it can be backed up to computer easily with the USB support. Here's a rundown of the specs taken from the Tascam website. * 8-track recording at uncompressed CD quality onto a large built-in hard drive * Built-in reverb processor bank for extra-polished mixes * Built-in insert effects processor * 2-track simultaneous recording * Dedicated stereo mixdown track * Dedicated controls on each channel for volume, pan, effect send, high and low EQ * Two-band semi-parametric EQ on each channel * Workstation-style track editing: copy, paste, move, erase, silence * Two XLR microphone inputs with phantom power for studio condenser microphones * Two 1/4 " TRS mic/line inputs * Hi-Z guitar level input * Effects send and stereo return * RCA line-level output * S/PDIF Digital Optical output * Headphone output with level control * MIDI output for MIDI Time Code or MIDI Clock * USB 2.0 port for computer backup and CD burning * Dimensions: 17.8"W x 5.1"H x 12.1"D * Weight: 11.5 lbs. Condition wise, it's in great nic! Will be shipped with power supply. These can still be found for £270 new. NOW ONLY £170
4. Bass Method book The book that started it all for me! Great beginners book, has some scrawling on the inside from an old teacher of mine but otherwise in good condition! £4 including P+P. ---------------------- The Gig Bag Book of Bass Scales Fantastically useful book. Keep it with you in practices and it will help develop your bass lines easily. Ideal for those 'I want to play more than the root note' moments. £5 including P+P ---------------------- The Guitar Case Chord Book I consider this the 'guitar-counterpart' to the above book. Again very useful. £3 including P+P --------------------- I'm also selling some bass and guitar pedals and some other bits and pieces in the effects forum, see here. Thanks for looking! 6.
Thats the cutest pedal board I've ever seen..... Awwwwwww
Ha well thanks. I guess she is kind of cute now that you mention it!
7. Here's my Pedaltraini Mini - Signal flow is as you see. All powered by a Diago power supply which fits nicely in the 'gutter' at the back of the board, behind the Micro POG. I'm totally happy with this board. Although if I start playing in a balls-out rock band again I'll probably replace the Bottom Feeder with some kind of overdrive. A few little quirks about this board are that I've used aluminum tape to mark my settings on the VT, and will soon do the same to the other pedals once I'm set on my sound. I often get asked about my pedal connectors, which are the EBS Asymetric connectors, I find they take less space and create less mess than cables. I don't believe what anyone says about them putting stress on the ins/outs of pedals - if the pedals are well attached to the board there is no issue. And I also use LED booklights to illuminate my board, clipped onto the back of the board... Which means that this is as close as you are going to get to the obligatory 'night shot'.... PJ
8. Slashed another £20 off the price. One final bump before 'bay. PJ
9. danbowskill - as tempting as the Blogger is, I'm trying to get rid of pedals not buy more! Only interested in sales I'm afraid. Punch Factory is now on hold for Jezz, TU-2 remains for sale.
10. Bump for added item and price drop....
11. Aphex Punch Factory Fantastic optical compressor, in A1 condition. Really great and making you stand out in the mix, I find especially with a Jazz basses. It only came in a flimsy plastic container so will be shipped in a box with plenty of bubblewrap padding. SOLD Boss TU-2 You all know what they do, industry-standard stage tuner. Had a fair bit of use but is in fairly good condition, see pic below. The rubber base of the pedal has been removed and replaced with velcro. I'll put some a new, clean sheet of Pedaltrain velcro on for the buyer. SOLD PJ
12. For sale is one AKG Guitarbug transmitter and one AKG PR40 diversity mini-receiver. Great system, I've used this at many venues across the UK from pubs to Barfly's. They're great quality little units. Never had any issues with dropouts or anything like that. I've always seen these as professional quality wireless kit for a bargain price. As long as you make sure it gets fed some new AAA batteries every so often (which it's not too hungry with) it's a really reliable and versatile system! PR-40 details are here - http://akg.com/site/products/powerslave,id...anguage,EN.html and Guitarbug's are here - http://www.akg.com/site/products/powerslav...anguage,EN.html The two are on the same frequency (obviously!) which is the 'Yellow' AKG frequency (ISM 1 - 863.100 MHz). If you don't mind forking out a bit more for postage, I'll include my one-of-a-kind, ghetto MDF box I made to store the two! Pictures are below. There's a flight case catch on the front, holes drilled for the antennas and the output cable. and rubber feet on the bottom so you can leave it on the floor next to your pedalboard, or put it on top of your amp. Looking for £70 shipped, including the box. Cheers. PJ
13. Bit of a long shot I know, but I want to drop some new pickups in my Geddy to give her a more modern sound. The creme Dimarzio Model J's I have at the moment are absolutely fantastic, have loads of mid-punch and place you exactly where you need to be in the mix, but that's just not the sound I'm going for right now. Instead of shelling out for a new set of EMG's or Bartolini's I thought I'd ask to see if anyone wants to trade? Cash adjustment either way. Make me an offer if you have another brand of pickups, but I'm looking for something nice and modern, ideally with covered pole pieces. Cheers. PJ
14. She's a beaut! ....if only I had that kinda money laying around.
15.
Bumps are only £289.99 RRP on the interweb. This is way overpriced.
But Bogieman is selling 'Bump Bump', that's two! Awesome deal, if I hadn't just bought a new Bump myself I'd be all over this...
16. B-E-A-utiful bass. If I had that kinda money laying around I'd be all over this!
