    One of my favourite bands but after seeing them twice, last time at the O2 centre a few years ago I made up my mind I wouldn't bother again. Both times the sound has been dire, I'm sad to say :-(

    Four of us went to the london bass show yesterday and we had a good craic and all that but think I was a wee bit dissapointed there wasn't ( or maybe I just didn't see) the latest offerings from companies like bergantino, genz, etc? Thought maybe barefaced & goodfellows would be there too? But you can always rely on the legions of slap monsters! They never fail to show! Lol!

    Nowt wrong with a shorty! My alembic sc is/ can be as versatile as I want it to be. Done quite a few gigs with our AC/DC tribute band on it.. No probs! :-)

    There's an alembic 5 string on eBay being sold by tesco outlet or something. Click on description and it says a buy it now price for £1200, for a series model!!! Mmmmm I don't think so. Pristine and stunning is somehow they describe it. Be very wary folks, I reckon:-/

    Hi lana, the bergs are the original models,but I've put matching feet on the sides so as to stack vertical if/ when needed, looks and works very well. Cheers

    Hi barrie! Hope you keeping well mate! Yes they stack very well/ solid and safely in my option. They are pretty much as new really , few small, and I mean really marks on metal corners but that's about it. I think it's a very fair price with covers and all.as regarding the ae112's, thanks for your offer but I don't think the're what I'm after at the moment... Now if anyone had a super 15 bf I might be interested! Best to contact me on 07747690241 as I'm gonna be out for rest of the day/ most of evening.     Hi all! Decided to go for a single cab solution so these are up for sale. I really would prefer to sell these as pairs not singular.all four cabs very very good condition.     When you stop and think about things, it brings it home doesn't it? We have the luxury of pondering what strings to use? What amp should I get? Will this cab suit my style or not?this and that. We have that LUXURY, others did not. Their Only goal was to stay alive and survive in conditions that we can't even begin to imagine. They where victims of their time , unlucky to have been born when they were, forced into a situation they had no choice in, forced to fight and die.this may seem 'heavy stuff' to post on here, but it was a lot lot heavier for them endure. So next time we pick up our basses and play,or fart about with our amps and effects, let's remember WHY we can, hey?
