Feedback for sk8

Bought a pedal at a great price - extremely prompt communication & item arrived quickly and safely. Nothing more could be asked for (apart from not having to pay) It's shame most of my other transactions aren't as straightforward.
2. If you can get a courier for £20 or less, I'll be more than happy to pay for it.

SOLD

Payment received, will send it tomorrow
4. Would you deliver this within the UK (obviously at buyers cost) and if you would, how much would it cost extra?
5. Thats damn handy - I'm based in Durham, looking for a band, and also absof***inglutely love Muse, coupled with the fact I know most of their songs like the back of my hand. I'll send you an e-mail right away
6. Probably been mentioned before, but I've noticed that for months I've been playing the chorus for Duran Duran - Rio slightly wrong for months now, and I can't figure out what I should be playing. Its the bit in the chorus were it sings "dances on the sand" first time round. Its basically the part after the D halfway through the riff and before the E F# F# G G at the end that I can't figure out exactly All the tabs I've seen are no good. I figured the rest of the chorus out but just cannot figure this part out out, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Just a list of all the notes played that any of you play Rio would be brilliant. Cheers
7. Cheers for the advice, I will have a little mess around later on
8. Right, I'm playing Hysteria by Muse tomorrow night in my Uni college unplugged night (which isn't at all unplugged) I have a Boss GT6-B and want to get the right tone, but I'm far too busy writing my dissertation (am in library needing to write 7000 words by Thursday) to play about with it and do it myself. So does anyone else here play Hysteria through a GT6-B, and could you please tell me how you he tthe right (or a similar) tone? I would be really gratful as the presets are pretty crap. Cheers
9. Jet - Cold Hard Bitch and Rolling Stones - Jumpin Jack Flash, easy ones for a minigig on Saturday, also perfecting Muse - Hysteria and trying to get a good effect for it on me GT6B For fun, I learnt Sir Duke a couple of days ago and was quite impressed with myself that it didn't take me long to learn and play it decently well. Might give Hilikus by Incubus a go tomorrow as I heard it before and love how groovy the bass is in it
10. As an economics student I am just itching to start writing a MASSIVE debate about the Euro. I am actually pro Euro (will benefit in the long run), but do you know that Britain probably deals more in US Dollars, so if we joined some kind of American Monetary Union, we could probably save even more getting cheap American basses. Of course, the whole economy will probably go tits up
11. Been told to learn Paradise City by Guns N Roses, which has been easier than expected, and with my new Tascam Bass trainer, I no longer need to drop tune every string half a semi-tone, which is convenient. Also learnt Echo Beach by Marhta & the Muffins just because of that damn advert on ITV, and Take On Me by Reel Big Fish, and Baggy Trousers by Madness just to try some ska
12. Same as above, but Durham, not Bristol Just wondering, where are you based? Would really like to see you play, or if you haven't a bassist by mid December, I would love it just to even practise with you, or have a Muse-like jam. Seriously though, I hope you find a bassist soon
13. Sadly, but not surprisingly, the big muff soviet has already been sold
14. I was just wondering about my acoustic bass, and the fact that I never play it. Therefore I wish to sell it, but I'm not sure how to value it, because there is an issues wtth it, and the case, that the guy (shop owner) that sold it me couldn't repair First of all. here it is, with specs http://www.gregbennettguitars.com/ab2.html I think he asked £240 for it, but managed to sell it to me for £200 last December, and also a Kinsman Hardcase, that cost about £50 http://www.guitar.co.uk/accessories/hard_c...tic_bass_guitar (I think its that one, or very similar) Anyway, at some point in transit, something happened so that the E & A string were fret buzzing really badly (on first fret), i .e either bridge, or the truss rod have been adjusted by being knocked etc, so that the action has been lowered too much, and as the bridge is not like that of an electric, i do not know how to adjust it The guy tried to adjust the truss rod. but for some reason he couldn't, didn't have the right allan key i think. Basically, I ended up putting pieces of card under the saddle at the top of the neck to stop this - i don't gig it ever, just for messing about and quiet practise Anyway, if i want it fixed, who should i take it too, should i take ot to another shop and ask them to look at it, (I'm based in Durham at the mo, which is different to where i bought it) OR could i sell it as it is, and hope to make at least a decent return on it?
15. I've never had a perfect gig, yet to be honest I've only had 3, and they've not really been gigs but a couple of songs during an open mic night thing. Anyway the day I'll have a flawless gig, the day I decide to declare myself a god
16. I've only just thought that this isn't lined is it? Does it have dot markers (or whatever they are called) along the side of the neck to indicate fret position. Also a general question to everyone, would it be possible to get someone to line the fret positions so I can see what notes I'm playing, as I struggle to play while not looking
17. I'm REALLY tempted. Never played a fretless before and I do want a second bass. You wouldn't be prepared to trade/PX on a 4 string electro-acoustic bass would you by any chance, I never use it. If not how low would you go on the price if you don't mind me asking, because being a student means I have little money to justify buying a spare bass

CLOSED

Is the Big Muff Pi USA or Russian?
19. Well thanks very much for your honesty, I still need to reserach amplification a bit more. I hope it sells very soon then
