May I ask how and with what you filled the V/T indentations?
I used JB Weld. Basically, it’s an epoxy resin but I’m others would be fine as well.

Love this! I keep coming back to look, even though I don't need another unlined fretless.
Gorgeous mojo!!

A great loss. He was a fantastic player. Loved his work.

The Gotoh bridge is a good design.

I once saw Bob Daisley and Ariel Bender (Luther Grovesnor) come to blows on stage while performing as Widowmaker back in the 70’s!

So is it easy and do the glow-in-th-dark dots work?
Yes and, yes!
I’ve added Luminlay dots to several of my (unlined fretless) basses. After the first successful effort, it’s a breeze. Take your time and prepare well and everything should be fine.
On dark stages they can be really helpful as sight reference points.

I like the fact that it is both light and very resonant. I switched out the pickups due to hum……….otherwise, a good option.
The black version is a finger-print magnet like all all shiny black instruments.

It’s a well moderated site that serves as an excellent resource. When you seek more info and opinions within the forum it has felt, at least for me, more like a community. I look at other bass-related sites but feel most at home with BC.

I now run Harley Benton flats
I was positively surprised by these. I bought a try-out 4 string and 5 string set of flats. For the money they are well OK!

Wow! That’s nice!

Somewhere there's a link to the suitable washer so you don't have to pay music equipment rates on 5c washers. As I recall they are a little odd in their proportions of overall and hole diameters.
Try the securing washer from an old bicycle tyre valve. The old-fashioned sort of bike valve washer has exactly the correct dimensions. It is quite thick, but I would judge the truss rod would be restored to a flush position by doing so.

Something wacky and super modern. Maybe a Gus?

I just did a gig that was one of the most fulfilling of any that I’ve done in a long while. It was a freebie that our singer arranged at a care-home, which is local to his place. These folks, I tell you, they were spontaneous, involved and we just belted out a range of “oldies for oldies”. The cherry on the cake was when one of the administrators said they’d seen several folks who have dementia and were singing along with seemingly no issues. That touched me and reminded me that whether it be my first gig or my last gig………it’s all about bringing a positive feeling to all the participants.

If I recall correctly, the Moot Hall, Maldon in 1973.
Here is a pic of a rehearsal around that time. I was playing a 1964 Burns Jazz!
And the winner is………I was 17!

I just updated my HX Stomp with 3.60 and HX Edit and had no problems.

Maybe try just changing the saddle screws first before changing the whole bridge, they might just be a bit loose
This ^^^^^ would be my first approach……….then explore changing the bridge if it’s still problematic.

Oiling a rosewood fingerboard. Very satisfying.
Heck, there was some crap on the board though!

That's a fair comment ^^ and one for which no supplier had any real control over during the pandemic.
I have no gripes with any of the builders. Interactions with Mark at Limelight have always been great.

G&l fretless basses are quite rare……….but available on s/h market from time to time.

That’s one huge, helpful resource.
Thank you!

I couldn’t agree more!
I’m lucky enough to have a pair of TRB 5ii’s……..one fretted, one fretless. The 35” scale ensures a superb sounding B string as well as the bullet-proof Japanese build quality.
I think Yamaha basses “punch well above their weight”.
