They think it will be around £2000 when released and be special order only, which isn't terrible considering what 2 gt200's cost and weigh as being in a single slightly larger enclosure would weigh less. They are also making a GT200 with a mid control and offer them both, if I can't track down the monster that is the Bass 200 then I'll get one of those with a dual preamp setup and get slave in and outs on both GT's so I can run them together from either preamp setup. Till then I'll have to mess with my Strategy 400 you could of course buy that and get close to what that JC4000 is going to kick out
Slick.

3. Steve, tell me more about Copey's amp.
4. Is that a Bassman 135? Looks too cool.
5.
Boss RE-20
Interesting, thanks.
6. Hi Sam, welcome to the best bass guitarist forum on the planet. We have so much knowledge, taste, experience and warmth on here. Trick is, deciding who has any of the above. What music do you listen to and who are your bass icons, not including your Dad.
7. I want a delay pedal for some outer space stuff, to compliment my Malekko B.assmaster fuzz pedal. Can any of you pedal dudes fix me up? Cheers Steve.
8. Thank you Sir.
9. I want to buy one, so what is a fair price? Ta very much.
10.
Hi, i have a nice lefty 4 string thumb bass 1999 whith wenge neck in top condition
He does, it's lovely.
11. I use on of these, they sound, well, like an Ampeg. Pair this with a good quality power amp, with plenty of power and you can have as near as dammit to an SVT and a fraction of the weight.
12.
I didn't like Jaco's Cliff Huxtable period.
Brilliant. Knitware was big in the 80's, especially if you had to sleep rough. Somebody should have looked after Jaco and made him feel safe.
13. Chill the f*** out. I thought the majority of posters were musicians, not waynkers.
14. Now that's a pedal board! Give me your 600D, please?
15.
You too. Have fun. You need to earth each section of shielding so that it acts as a sort of faraday cage. I prefer a belt and braces approach and solder each piece of foil despite it having conductive glue (apparently). Here's a pic of when I did my SUB as an example of the "science bit". With multi cavitied basses you have to earth each one which ultimately of course goes to your main earth.
Very nice. Copper foil is a bugger for cutting your fingers.
16. spalted maple?
17.
Hi Mark, I don't suppose you have a great local luthier/guitar repair shop who will do it for £20-30? I'm afraid that what I would resort to as I would be too cowardly PS, did you manage to get the action just right?
Err, how's £150-200 grab ya apples?
18.
I've done 1 or 2 myself (including re-frets) and it is entirely possible to treat both sides of the neck as a separate jobs, with the front of the headstock a third. If you don't need to go near the fingerboard then don't.
I thought it was the whole neck he wanted refinishing.
19.
Nice bit of lateral thinking but I think it would be easier to simply remove the frets, spray it and put new ones back in.... but that's me.
I've refinished maple necks and you have to rub down the entire neck, fingerboard included, you basically have to sand in between the frets and that is the tricky part. You then have to file and sand the lacquer off the frets, as if you were doing a fret dressing, taping up the exposed fingerboard to leave the frets showing.
20.
The SR16 is designed to be used live as well as in the studio. It should be all you need, great sounds and many of them, and is very user friendly. I've used them for years, had the original HR16 aswell. It should be exactly what you need, Chris. £50 for an SR16 with box and manual and in very good, fully working condition is the right price.
Plus 2 to all of that. HR16, what a brilliant sounding unit, SR16, size of a book, £50, buy it.
21. Re-lacquering a maple neck and board is really tricky.
22. Is it straight, are the frets level, is it fit for purpose? Then bolt it on and stop worrying about its appearance.
