1. Hey guys, Here I have my beloved left handed Tokai Jazz Bass. At some point between the 80's and now it's had it's neck replaced with what seems to be a Fender Jazz Bass neck. I am a right handed player so I have the bass strung the other way, but obviously that can be easily redeemed. When I got this, it had no knobs and botched jobs done on the electrics. I've recently had this looked at and fixed so everything is working perfectly It's got awesome tone and sad to put it up for sale. Not really sure what to sell this for really - so I'm up for offer's Cash and possible swaps. ***IMPORTANT INFORMATION**** I have managed to track down the original owner of this bass. He has confirmed to me that this bass is indeed a Fender, not a Tokai. I seemed to have mixed my facts up as he also owns a Tokai and I presumed this was the Tokai. I was wrong - this is a Fender Jazz MIJ from between 1984-1987. Apologies for this error! 2. I'd prefer to swap it tbh, just be more interested in what people would offer. But if did have to sell it, I would ask for £125. P+P would only be about £5.
Are you looking to sell mate? I might well be interested. Cheers Ferg
7.
I rather like the look of this; http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CZQGxJm6xkc The production model looks a bit sexier. Unfortunately there isn't a UK distributor yet.
How much do they fetch? Looks like it might have a hefty price tag!
8.
Hey Josh I've got a set of PK 5's hanging around for £100 if your interested.
Hmm, sounds tempting What sound module did you use with that?
9.
Seriously, the AC-3 is a great acoustic simulator. If you played an electric through that through your bass rig, and then when it kicks in just switch from the AC-3 to the OC-2 it's be very easy and probably cheaper (buy used pedals) than any other solution. For a guitar synth pedal, I beleive you need to buy the pick-up to work with it.
I need to continue playing the acoustic part when the bass part kicks in - so that would mean the above wouldn't work right? Unless I've misunderstood!
10.
get one of the roland guitar synths the smallest one is fairly cheap and you can use it to control a synth while you are playing guitar, you can program it to play a small phrase at the start of each chord you play or just a single bass note, they are great fun.
Is this the Roland PK-5? Im just discovering this right now!
11. Hey guys, Need some help on this one. I usually play bass in my band but there's this one song where I play acoustic guitar. For most of the track its pretty bare but towards the end the song kicks in gun's blazing like it's World War 3. It sounds great but, obviously, there is no bass because I'm playing guitar. It doesn't have the same "balls to it" feel like I would want it to because there is no bass. So I need to play bass WITH MY FEET! (not actually holding the bass between my leg's but with foot pedals ) Any clue's?? The closest I can come to figuring out what to do is to sell the house and buy a Moog Taurus when one pop's up on ebay every 2 year's. Another option would be to buy a fancy laptop and a midi foot controller. Both quite expensive options. I just need something to play long sustained bass notes - that's all. Please throw all options at me! Thanks fella's, Josh
12. Wouldnt like to throw a spanner in the works but my guitarist has bought one recently and you can hear quite a tone change when the pedal's on to when it's bypassed. It's a worry. Is the delay digital?
13. Have a bump from me - Warwick make seriously good amps
14. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
15. Hey guys, I need some quick advice on IEM's. I need a cheap transmitter and reciever (I can buy a nice pair of SCL2's afterwards) for a band setting. Obviously I need something which is fairly reliable and something which aint gunna break 10 mins into a set. Ive looked on the internet and in the cheap market I have come across T Bone, DB Technologies, LD systems. Is there anything else? Hope you guys can help me out with advice as I need to purchase the goods ASAP. Thanks chaps, Josh
16. Now down to just 1 Boss GE7. The other one sold pending payment. Im up for selling this (preferably) or swapping it for whatever you want to offer and if it takes my interest
17. This is a bril amp and worth a bump. Whoever buys it will love it!
18. No worries! 2 x Boss GE7 EQ Pedals still up for grabs. Let me know what you have for swaps!
19. It suited the low B on my bongo - but its up to you really Still 2 EQ pedals for sale...
20. The GE-7 EQ is good for bass too. I have used it in my rig to boost the lower frequencies when running my turbo rat and it does the job great. Im up for doing a swap! Drop me a PM! Josh
21. Hey guys, Ive got 2 x Boss GE7 EQ pedals up for grabs. One of them belongs to the guitarist in my band and he doesn't need it anymore. He's looking for a CS-3 Compressor or anything similar. No Behringer please So for the other EQ pedal (which belongs to me), Im up for offers really! A Volume pedal for an active bass, may be interested in an Electro Harmonix pedal or an AKAI HEADRUSH + some cash. Just let me know what you've got. Thanks! Josh
22.
Im definately interested mate. How do you stick the pedals down on it? I assume velcro? Is it a delivered price too? Cheers
I've got some sticky velcro that I'll throw in with it - however it's not including postage. I'll have to see how much it is to post but I imagine it will be in the region of a tenner. What do you think? Josh
