  1. Thanks jazzy, my US 62s are nitro and I like that finish and I’ll keep an eye on the hardware 👍
  2. I came across this site while I was looking for something else, there’s some interesting info here 🙂 https://1970sfenderbasstrivia.wordpress.com/
  3. Thanks very much guys, some great information here 👍
  4. That’s a nice jazz lefty👍, How does that work that they are Japanese/US, are they made in both countries 🙂
  5. My one has only been used a few times and I’ve got quite a few bits , if you want to borrow it Hiram you’re welcome 👍
  6. That’s a good idea, with the right bits the dremel is a great tool
  7. Cheers Steve, that’s good to know, I’ve often looked there but never bought anything.
  8. Bassassin as always, thank you very much, so I needn’t concern myself over mij or cij, that will make my search easier 👍
  9. Cheers Geek, that’s great to know 👍
  10. Thanks very much ead, they all look really good 🙂
  11. Thanks hooky, this is the sort of thing I’m looking at, I wondered if some years are better than others and also some have the grounding strip and some don’t,
  12. Thanks BigRedX 👍
  13. I’m thinking of getting a white 62RI Japanese jazz , I’ve had over 35 USA and Mexican jazzes but to my knowledge never a jap one, I noticed some are CIJ and some are MIJ , what’s the differences and what’s the build quality like, many thanks ☝️
  14. Definitely a scam to me, and I’m not sure about this bit, you might get charged for a bit more than you think, and I couldn’t find any sort of feedback All prices are in us dollars for the unit, are subject to change without prior notice, and shall be responsible for you.
  15. I listen to Nucleus roots now and again, this is a great tune
  16. I’m not a big fan really I’m a bit old skool I like the bass on reggae, but some are quite good, I remember seeing Shabba ranks many years ago and I was quite disappointed he never had a bass player, but this is a great one
  17. I think Horace Andy did the original in 1974 , and re released it around 78 and I know sly and Robbie have done a version
  18. Hi dan , I’ve measured 4 of my jazzes and they are 64mm but my P is 63mm, the picture is a jazz neck on a p bass 🙂
  19. A delroy Wilson morning

    Ramp

That’s a beautiful bass E sharp👍, Black Perspex would look good with the top rounded off as a thumb rest, and you wouldn’t see the tape through it .
  21. Very nice Foxy, and well paired with the barefaced 👍
  22. I’m liking this Bob Marley cover from Mo Ali
  23. I’ve been browsing these for a while and I missed the sale of this , in your opinion would you say they are suitable for for heavy reggae or are they too bright

    Ramp

I’ve never seen a ramp that goes on top of the pickups, if you have to lower your pu’s to allow for the ramp , won’t you lose your output

    Ramp

I have a ramp on one of my jazzes, and really like it, if you just want to try one it’s worth making one to see if you get on with it 🙂
