Hi Al, That would be awesome if you could give it a go. The layout is in a PDF in the original post - let me know if that's too tricky to do by hand or anything. I have emailed GGG, but had no reply yet - so it may be that they say it will be back in stock within a couple of weeks, in which case there's no point you going to all the trouble. Hi, Does anybody know of anywhere that will make a PCB with all the holes/copper printed on from a diagram? Or if anybody knows how to do it themselves and will help me out. I want to try my hand at making one of the General Guitar Gadgets Stage Centre Reverbs, but they are out of stock of the board. It looks really interesting as you plug in a separate spring reverb to get your sound. Just thought I'd let you all know, as I had such a good experience getting my Electro Harmonix Bass Synth repaired. I just searched google until I found someone who looked good, and found out Martin Owen of Owen Electronics carries out repairs. [url="http://www.owenelectronics.co.uk/"]http://www.owenelectronics.co.uk/[/url] (also makes some very nice looking bass overdrives!) Anyway. My bass synth had some dodgy wiring at the input/output jacks as the jack sockets had never stayed tight from the day I bought it. It also had two snapped sliders, which were still useable but I said to replace them if the parts were sourceable. He got back to me within a few days of receiving it with a well laid out estimate of everything that he could do, with prices for each section of the work, and even suggested he could make it True Bypass for me, which was a bonus. I've just received the pedal back and it's in perfect working order again, an excellent job, and he even managed to find the little white caps for the sliders for me. Highly recommended - I would definitely send him my stuff again. Rich

That's great. Thanks for the info - I'll wait until I see one in a shop or something and give it a go. I've actually got two of the old ones, although one I'm trying to get fixed at the moment. But if the XO isn't a good replacement, I don't think I'll be selling either soon - need one as a backup! I have noticed a difference between my two though, mainly in the trigger slider and rate slider, although I imagine some of that could be down to the internal pots that could be adjusted. Awesome pedal though IMO - one of the best (Except for the bypass - I use a separate bypass box to cut it out) Rich

I had a quick search, but couldn't find anybody talking about this, but has anybody AB'd the big box Bass Microsynth and the new XO version? I used the big box one all the time for various things, but it would save a hefty amount of space on my board to have the XO version (I could probably fit a whole other pedal on there!). Just curious if anybody's noticed any differences in how it sounds/reacts? Is it the very same circuit, just layed out more efficiently, or have they changed some stuff? Cheers Rich

I have an Ezekiel too - sparkly blue one, and it's awesome. I bought it to replace a rat that got a bit too muddy for my liking, and it does that perfectly plus more. I must have bought it in a quiet period though, because it was £100 on ebay in 2006 - boxed and everything. Rich

Sounds exactly like you are not getting a strong enough signal into the pedal to trigger the filter. Or just bring your trigger slider back right back down to to a lower setting (where did you have that set?)
