Hi chaps thanks for all the positive feedback! And Oops thanks for the pledge I really appreciate it. I hope you like the album when you get hold of it, we've put a lot of work into it and are all proud of it. Thanks again!

Cheers for the Feedback Rich, we need to do a few more vids for the pledgers so I'll keep your points in mind mate. Alright Oops very very kind of you. Our website is currently being used just to showcase the Pledge campaign here is the link http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/abelganz which tells you a bit about the new album, we have Jerry Donahue from Fairport Convention guesting on one track which is awesome. But there are loads of great musicians even, pedal steel players, flugelhorns even a brass band

Hi Everyone my band, Abel Ganz are about to release a new album. We are running a pledge campaign and are at over 100% at the moment which we are over the moon about. I put together this video as a preview to one of the tracks 'Unconditional' the whole tune clocks in at over 14 minutes, this is the intro section. For anyone that's interested I played a 77 Stingray with a clean signal going to an RBI and a another clean signal going to an RPM and the engineer reamped it in the studio! I hope you like it and I hope this is the right forum! https://www.youtube....h?v=dXxtqIgsYpk

What's the string spacing on that?

Hi folks wondering if anyone could suggest a wide 5 string bridge. I was looking or replace the MM type bridge on the retrovibe I just bought but the big holes made by the ferrules means any replacement has to be a bit on the wide side about 10.3 cm. I just got a hold of a Schaller 2000 5s and it's a bit too small. The hipshot transtone and B style I think will do the trick but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Folks I just took delivery of a second hand Schaller 2000 5s bass bridge, in good condition boxed etc to replace the bridge on my retrovibe. Unfortunately it's not big enough to cover the holes made by the ferrules! So basically I'm looking for a wider 5 string bridge! Anyone got anything? Spoke to him seems a great guy and he was looking for some spares he might have but I was thinking about maybe a hipshot or a schaller or something though. I know they are kind of MM copies just wondered if there was an alternative out there.

Allo a Longshot but does anyone know if there is a replacement for a retrovibe 5 string bridge. I imagine some drilling may be involved
Good luck with the campaign! And well done on getting Malcolm in on guitar. Aside from being a top fellow, I always thought he was massively underrated. Is Dennis still your drummist? I used to work with him now and again on Runrig shows & rehearsals.
Thanks Simon, Malcolm is actually playing accordion which he is amazing at he plays on the same track as Jerry. Denis is indeed the drummer and if truth be told the boss! He is the guy that keeps it all together. He is away with Runrig at the moment.
Love your stuff and have a couple of your CDs. Just tried to do my thing but having trouble with the Paypal option. It maybe the work filters but will try later at home.
Cheers ead thanks for your support mate. I think this album is a cracker but it nearly killed us making it!

Apologies for posting the Pledgeness so if it's in the wrong forum or contravenes the rules please remove it. My band, Abel Ganz, have just started our pledge campaign yesterday. It's the first time we've ever did one of these things and I have to say it's been a really good experience. The band have been on the go since the 80s and we are using pledge to fund mastering and CD production of our latest album. In my opinion the album is our best and is the culmination of about 6 years work (we are not fast). It has brass bands, strinq quartets tubular bells, horn sections, lot's of traditional instruments and long songs. We have been lucky enough to have contributions from some really amazing musicians including Jerry Donahue from Fairport Convention and Malcolm Jones of Scottish folk rockers Runrig so it's all good. It would be great if you could take a look at the video (we are generally much cheerier in real life but something about the camera going on!). Any advice on forums where we should be posting to or if you know a colony of proggers who might be interested in some really good prog rock please let me know.
