3. I reckon the minitaur may be the culprit!
4. Cheers Howie I think I am close to the edge power wise, the minitaur draws. About 500 ma I have a voltage doubler and a reverse polarity cable on the 2nd section. The B3 and the wireless are probably the most power hungry on the 1st section. I have the minitaur off now just checking the heat.
5. The minitaur needs a reverse polarity barrel but everything else seems fine
6. I'll have a look
7. Got one of these Yankee PS M12 power supplies, http://yankee.com.pl/?p=10 . Currently running an ebs microbass, dark vintage microtubes, TLC comp, wireless and a B3 from the 9v section. a moog minitaur from the 12v section and a KMI 12 step from usb. All seems within the capabilities of the power supply but it's really f***ing hot! I left for a few hours when I nipped out the shops and got back had a wee shot of my bass then the f***er died on me. I could fried an egg on it. It came back on but not exactly filling me with confidence. Am I just pushing it to hard or is there some other reason?
8. Big thanks to EBS_freak for telling me about Yankee power supplies! Bought a PS-M12 and it has a 5v USB slot for a lamp I believe. Works a treat for powering my 12 Step!
9. Yeah over it, was quite reasonable and the seller seems like an excellent bloke. So thanks for alerting me to these units I'd never heard of them before!
10. Hey EBS just bought one of these on Ebay http://www.loopersparadise.de/en/pro.php?p=566 hopefully it will do the trick. I just noticed it has a USB out as well, which fills me with joy.
11. Cheers for the info! I spoke to the Poul Ciok who makes Cioks power supplies very helpful. He said the Minitaur manual states 7 Watts which corresponds to 583mA. He say's Ill need to have 600mA available for this unit.
12. Cheers Stu finding a bit problematic to find a power supply that delivers that. There is some info online stating that the Minitaur psu is 1200 ma but the device draws much less. Potentially you could use a lesser powered supply. The Cioks DC 10 has two DC outlets at 400 ma so maybe I could double those to get 800. Need to do some research I think.
13. I'm looking for a pedalboard power supply that can power 5 or so pedals but crucially my Moog Minitaur it's 12 volts at 1200ma. I'm a bit of an electrical numpty so I'm not quite sure what 1200ma means other than the one I've bought doesn't work!
14. What do you make of this thing? http://www.amazon.co.uk/DiGiYes®-Desktop-Charger-Samsung-Digital/dp/B00KYEFWIW http://www.ebay.com/itm/DiGiYes-USB-Hub-Car-Charger-4-USB-Ports-Power-Supply-For-iPhone-Samsung-HTC-/111664805694
15. New board, needs a bit of sorting and I'm looking for a good isolated PSU but I am quite happy!
16. Hi Simon It's a KMI midi expander for the 12 step foot pedal.
17. Cheers chaps I thought that might be the case. I just wanted to avoid another plug but no luck!
18. Is it possible to get a wire to run for a power supply (voodoo lab) to a usb to power a device? So it would be the usual power supply cable and connector leading to a usb.
19. Had this on evil bay but ended the sale as I don't really want to sell it! I'll keep it up here but...
20. I've added a link to an image gallery for anyone that's interested. https://goo.gl/photos/jQfJVG5MLY9CttXm8
21. I have a set of PK5a pedals for sale at the moment if anyone is interested!
22. I'm being put off selling it now because of all the nice comments. It's a great bass and a looker and if it doesn't sell I'll be okay with it!
23. November! So you can hang onto those kidneys!
