  1. The Aria back up I got the neck wasn’t screwed in properly- in fact had to tighten all screws in bridge too but for £395 wasn’t expecting what I’d expect from fender for £1200+
  2. Fender sent that one for free to Bully Thakidd to review - you’d think they’d check before sending for review
  3. Lobster savages this - hope Fender listen
  4. Just seen one for resale already in Facebook Marketplace - yellow with tapes - also seen people with same problems as Lobster found. Still tempting tho - will resist as want to put Guild Bisonic on my Aria DMB
  5. Lovely basses I had the same one from 2002 for 15 years - great tone
  6. Think it’s my turn to be in them 🤣
  7. Cool bass and good knowledge- I knew I’d seen that font before - I like it
  8. One day i'd love one of these - looks so cool Si
  9. Yeah love the Mosrite look - was looking at the Eastwood version but double the price but probably better but this a good back up
  10. Just in - super light - quite punchy not too bright how I like it - nice neck - not too thin - would give Squier Mustang a run for their money - not bad outta box - some tapes or flats and it’ll be a fine back up - fun and easy to play and dud I say how light it is - prob 7.lbs couple of niggles - fret but at Eb on the A string but not through amp - not fret edges but could do with a polish on a couple - but these are only slight string spacing 19mm and 40mm at nut which makes it great to play tuners are solid - and intonation pretty good out of box Would make good mod platform at £395 I would if I was lobster give this 4/5 claws 🦞
  11. Ta Sean if I sell mine am looking for a back up and only about an hour down the road - I’ll let you know if it’s still going
  12. Can be heard here https://greenhorses.bandcamp.com/album/live-at-milkshed?t=7
  13. Selling my 2013 PB MIA - as I have finally found the bass for my needs, a Guild Starfire- so I can’t justify having such a great bass as a back up - it’s just a superb PB and needs a home where it’s number 1. Possibly with get the Deacy power bass from Bass Centre as back up. This bass sings unplugged - it resonates and so easy to play- plugged in it growls! new GHS flats just out on very wide tone options for a P as they switched up the pups from 2013 - the neck has the super satin finish - rolled edge with rosewood board which has been oiled - trust rod at bottom but access through the black three ply scratch plate and is 42mm at bone nut Bridge has the adjustable slots with a 19.5 mm string spacing with string through or top load option tuners the lightweight fender ones - holds well. weight is approx 8lbs it’s a lightweight one it has a couple of fine scratches and a tiny chip on thr back of the horn pictured apart from that some very light buckle rash - it’s a beautiful 3 burst - looks like a bottle of bourbon. comes with Fender hard case UK shipping £45 insured or pickup/meet upto hour drive from Clitheroe Lancs
  14. I've recently got same but with rosewood neck - absolutely superb bass - GLWTS
  15. Cheers Si - I’m thinking Lakland made this for John
  16. This is my Guild Byrds Starfire - I took recording last weekend and it ended up on 7 out of 8 live recorded tracks - I was expecting to be using the P mostly but the Starfire sounded so good. I absolutely love it. Smooth and deep but cuts through nicely
  17. John Stirrat of Wilco plays it always sounds awesome with Darkstar pup - I’ve tried finding model name - I’m sure one you dudes would know
