  1. A rough demo of an original tune performed on my trusty Jaydee Series 3
  2. Still a demo but if anyone is interested in smooth jazz, bass guitar & sketchy recording techniques...
  3. I have now switched the order to a 4 string as I never play 5 string basses.. In the mean time as this bass is going to take at least 18 months, another 2nd hand Sei Flamboyant 4 string bass appeared for sale at the Bass Gallery, so i thought i might as well just buy this one to keep me company whilst waiting for the the build to complete (the one on order will have a maple fingerboard and EMGs for a brighter funk sound...) If anyone knows who the original owner was, it would be interesting to know the history of a bass & what all the knobs and switches are for??? Picking it up on Saturday & asked John to put som 45-105s on it...
  4. yea post it in the for sale forum and i might be interested, please also include the weight...
  5. Thanks for all the feedback guys, I have gone with something based on the 5 string version of this bass: Martin is going to run a few other ideas passed me but we have a good base to work from!

  7. That's a real shame! Loved his playing with Brand X... extremely underrated player but a legend nether-less, will be missed!
  8. I visited his flat i think it must have been 15 odd years ago & he had a huge Status collection back then lol he'd just received his first Jaydee, a star child.
  9. I'd be very surprised if any were still not sold after about 5 minutes of that email being sent
  10. The machine (never) stops! If you read Robs introduction to the 40th Anniversary basses, he mentions - So does that leave things open to working 100% with wood? Maybe some T-basses in the future?
  11. Couldn't put it better myself & yep, I will also be sticking to my old S2
  12. This is my favorite bass - If any one buys this one , i salute you!
  13. Roll up roll up! Get your credit cards out ladies and gentlemen... a once in a life time opportunity is upon us!
  14. Status Status Graphite 40th Anniversary Series 2000 Limited Edition Basses - REMASTERED 2022 - http://www.status-graphite.com/status/frames/index_home.html
